Yes - i thought he looked great. Hits a shot really sweetly as well.
-
He certainly wasn’t. There were dodgy moments (such as that cross at the end) but that role is a tough one to do and on the whole, against 2nd in the league, he did it well.

Ricardo played a role he’s not trained for all season, and Hamza isn’t as good as Ricardo at the back. Kasey just isn’t Fatawu. I think the patched up parts made us far weaker, and it took its toll on everyone. We looked leggy by the 70th minute, but I don’t think it was anywhere near as bad as you make out. 2 issues for me is we weren’t clinical (we had 2 golden chances to stretch the lead that should have been taken) and we got very leggy and didn’t make changes quickly enough. We were better and should have won. I’m pissed off but I don’t buy into all the doom. Everything to one side, a draw is worse for them than us. -

Maybe your auntie Nelly should should get her frikin coaching badges then. -
Ipswich away kit makes my eyes bleed.

Stayed a few times with my boy after matches for autographs. Quite a lot making the effort this year (in particular Coady, Nelson, Faes, Vesty, Ricardo, Mads, KDH, Winks, Hamza etc). Never seen Nacho do it. One time he was walking to his car and lots of kids shouting his name. he completely blanked everyone getting in his car and as he drove past. Later, we saw his car near Freemans common as we walked past, my 11 year old in full leicester kit waved - completely blanked him. I know they aren't obliged to do anything, but I came away from it thinking he was a bit of a cock.

Was shite at the corner flag game.

The wages are arguably more of a problem than the net spend. Blow 80 mil, you are likely going to have to pay big bucks on wages as well.
-
Tonight wouldn't have been a good game for him at all, but Enzo would have likely started him. Was poor when pressed and the opposition was pacy.
-
Depends if you spend it on Soumare's, Praets and Vestergaards (in the PL playing 4 at the back).
-
The implication is that we were playing him when he wasn't good enough to try and meet the agreed appearances. Even in doing so, we didn't play him enough. Hate Chelsea. All they had to do is watch him to understand there were times he wasn't up to speed, and others where he was showing promise. A 2nd half season for him chasing a Championship title would have been the best development for him.
-
lol! Sure. I meant to say Europe places (top 6). Often in previous years there has been huge points differences between 10th and 6th. Anyway - i think you get my gist
-
Arguably, it's a more important game for them than us. Lose and they now have to make ground on Southampton and have Leeds breathing down their necks. Win, and they give themselves some breathing space. Its still very important for us, but lose and we are still 7 points ahead of 3rd. I think nerves will play a part tonight.
-
Lets make a f***ing noise tonight. Big statement . ... I now how a vision of it being 1-1 in the 85th minute and im sat on my own in H1.
-
I would - 100%. I dont think Ipswich go up this season, and if they don't they will be stuck in the Championship for a while, and if they do go up i think they get battered next season. Palace have recruited well, and Roy is now the issue. He provided a manager bounce after Viera but someone like McKenna can come in and do a decent job there. Sure, Palace aren't going to be knocking on the top 6 door but top half PL is achievable if he does a good job.

Maybe not. Because of how we like to control possession its more physically demanding in those advanced roles, but then parking the bus against Cov would have been demanding on him. Personally like to keep him where he is.
-
We’ll see. I have concerns about using Ricardo in a more advanced role (injury record) so Praet might be the only choice tomorrow. But even if he’s physically fit, his match fitness is going to be well off, and then there is the question of if he even gives a stuff. It’s a really crap situation to find ourselves in. So no doubt Praet scores a brace and gets an assist tomorrow to start the next reception arc. ….….. nah!
-
Presume you have a horrible hangover or something? The same Praet who has only managed 50 mins of football since August?
-
Well, they are benefiting now because they are using the cheating funds for yester-year wisely. Makes them different to the Chelsea's of this world that seem happy to p1ss money away on complete dross. If i recall, one of the core issues from early in the current owners tenure isn't about transfer fees, its about how the afforded wages and how they paid players and management. In the Man City case, don't just look at net spend.
-
They've done the opposite. They've done a complete number on the media and punditry. They have had the press completely on side for years, and you only use your imagination as to how (it would have been part of the Man City plan for sure). Made me laugh after the CL final when the commentator alluded to 'little old Man City' dreaming to the top, rather than buying everything unfairly and breaking a shi1 tonne of PL and Eufa rules along the way.
-
We did that earlier in the season.

More likely that the content in article has been skewed to tell a particular story and Mane has had a quote attributed to him. A few months back i was interviewed in the US press about my companies approach to AI. What ended up being written bore little resemblance to what i said in the interview. But no one knows or cares who I am so i didnt give a sh1t, and my employer was happy just to be in the press.

It's one thing pouring money into big boxing spectacles, or the region hosting international tournaments that pull in the relatively wealthy spectators from all over. A domestic league requires local and dedicated support which doesn't just appear overnight. I think they are banking on the next generation of supporter not really support clubs, but the players that move to that club. Reality is there are only a few players who can bring in that type of interest (Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe, Naymar), but the reality is that's not enough to hold interest for the whole domestic calendar. And is it interesting enough to have Ronaldo playing in a match where the defence is made up players who couldn't get into lower league football in most countries? Its very low in the list of things that i can be bothered to watch. They won't improve the standard just by buying last years superstars. Unless there is a long term plan to develop players throughout the league then its as doomed as the other short term rich ideas. Saudi Pro league as it stands doesn't bother me. What concerns me more is what they will dream up when they decide a local domestic league isn't going to work. I can see them coming up with the 'next generation' club tournaments hosted there that massively disrupt the worldwide domestic leagues.
