I said this in the KDH thread a few weeks back, and every one said i was talking out of my backside. Could see something like this coming. Now seems to be depend on if his head is turned or not. He's looked mardy for a few games now and hate to say but Brighton is a decent move for him. Life on the PL will be hard next season with the foxes.

Suppose we all read it differently. I never assumed that we needed to get rid of 2 million to pay for 2 million. We need to sell anyway and breaking even isn't good enough.
-
Do you do the books at the club? Reality is, none of us know how they work it out and exactly how they are factoring FFP in.
-
I strongly doubt he would have been in without taking a training session.
-
Looking forward to this. Hoping to see Nelson and Coady play and for Vardy to get a start, with maybe Kevin whipping some crosses into him like the old days. Alves training - will we see him on the bench at least?

Brendan redemption at Liverpool. You know it makes sense.

I see this time and time again and i still don't get it. Taking all the stats into consideration (actual goals for and against, and the expected numbers) nothing jumps out as having to change anything. Over the course of the season it's worked far more times than it hasn't. And this is a league where any title winning team draws and loses a lot of matches. Some balance in the overall thinking is needed. Is it not fair to expect that lots gets worked on in training, and the team work together to try and improve everything? You get better at things by training, trying and sometimes failing. I still don't think Enzo has (or will get this window) the team he really wants, and so is likely willing to work within some of the frailties as long as we still edge towards the end goal. Ipswich always likely had a goal in them. We should have put one of our golden chances away, of which we had a few. Thats the bit that needs to improve, and i presume is being worked on.

Ipswich have scored the 3rd most goals in the league (behind us and Southampton) and are renowned as one of the best attacking sides in the division. They had 5 shots , 3 on target (2 of which led to the goal). We have conceded the fewest goals in the league, and our goal difference is 10 more than the next best - the mighty Leeds. I dont get where all this conceding loads of chances comes from?

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread
Chelmofox replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
Oh, we definitely should have won in on Monday. Ipswich deserved nothing from the game, and it boils my pi55 that they managed to luck out at the end. Riccy should have hit the target in the first half and the Akgun/MacAtter moment should have been buried. We made the effort and there were enough chances (also counting the Cannon shots), so im not worried about effort. We just seem to go through these phases were we aren't clinical. Our last 2 goals have been a penalty (which at the time i felt we were lucky to get), and an own goal (Mavadidi's cross was finding noone from our team). -
Just checking, but you have watched us before right?

Im not saying he didn't, and i have no sympathy for him! More that i know there are plenty of people who will get on their high horse about this who drive over the limit themselves, some knowingly, some not. Its something i feel quite strongly about. In my late teens i was dating someone whos dad killed a motorcyclist on holiday in southern france. Her dad was over the limit after having a few at lunchtime, and his whole family were hospitalised. The girl I was dating was sent to a different hospital (in france) to the rest of the family as she suffered nasty facial injuries. A horrible episode all round. All the parents of the other families got on their high horse about it, even though most of them did exactly the same regarding drinking and driving. I couldn't get my head around how they were completely unaware of the double standards. A few years ago I was breathalysed by a Gendarme doing a spot check on a country road. I had my wife, kid and grandparents in the car. The Gendarme asked me to get out and take the test by their car. I was clear of course, but the experience would put anyone off thinking of driving near the limit out there, which is far tougher than here.

Has he grown since.
-
Ok - obviously many know of course, but there are people of my dads generation who still think you can have 4 pints and its fine.
-
I completely agree about the car, but what i will say is there is a lot of ignorance about what the limit actually is. I see people on match days getting in their cars after pre match and halftime pints, blissfully unaware that they are very likely over the limit. I bet those same people will think what Hamza has done is outrageous, not realising they are likely doing the same (note, i have no idea if Hamza was smashed or a little over the limit). I was astonished to find out a few months back that a client I had a few beers with drove home (i though he used the train). It does boggle my mind why someone who earns more in a week that most do in a year why they would put themselves in that position. Uber isnt even lose change.

Another table that Leeds aren't top of.

Unlucky?. He was on fudging loan.

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread
Chelmofox replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
Surely doesnt matter who would buy us - FFP is the issue. Pretty sure KP have the ability invest, but are blocked by those contraints. -
Pardon my ignorance, who gets to decide what a GREEN is.
-
What did he do wrong in the last 20 minutes?
-
We should rotate, but Akgun, Doyle, Coady, Nelson, Vardy etc should be looking to make a statement.
-
He has shown plenty of times how he has been able to tweak and adapt, but the 'change' part is usually referring to ripping up the process and doing something else entirely. As fans we are too quick to assume that 'something else' is always the answer. I genuinely didn't think Ipswich would score yesterday, but wasn't surprised (and was pissed off!) when they did. We can argue about late, or like for like subs, but at the end of the day that manager is calling this is a scenario where it was working. Overly tinker at 60 mins and its likely his assumption is that its makes the situation worse. This is where he is learning, and sometimes there isn't a right answer. I do feel he doesn't trust the bench too much. It slightly peterbs me that he isn't playing Coady at all in the league, but then replacing Vesty for him likely wouldn't change anything and its his prerogative to play what he thinks is the strongest line up. What i find odd is saying the last 2 games is 'the wheels coming off'. Can you imagine this forum if we had Leeds form over the christmas period!

I always appreciate your posts, but I can almost hear your heart pounding as you are putting that together. Enzos system (or philosophy- whatever people call it) has won us far more than we have drawn or lost. We need to get back to winning ways, but there is nothing right now that suggests to me we are throwing anything away. Look at any team who got automatic promotion from the championship. There are lots of draws and defeats. Teams at the top of the table take points from each other. It happens. Some are pissed off by Enzo brushing off dropped points, but the worst thing we can do right now is panic. Im pissed about yesterday too, but still think we got enough right to have won it. The thing really frustrating me is we are not being clinical with our chances. We should have been at least 2 up before they get lucky. Ipswich as a team always have a goal in them.
