  1. Can't go, but would love to hear 90 minutes of us singing the Enzo song.
  2. Who cares? These players earn unimaginable sums of money. This deal would have made Sensi richer. Being flown to Seagrave for the day and having to hang around is hardly a major hardship. Many of us have had to do multiple job interviews several times just to get an average paid job. I did that once and found that the role was then defunded. I'm sure the man can cope.
  3. Did anyone really think we would be buying anyone this window? It was obvious that unless the deadwood was out, nothing else was going to happen with the rebuild. For me the Sensi news was surprising more than anything, and appeared it was an option floated because he was unfavoured where he was and it could be done on the cheap. Even then, i think many of us were looking for reasons to like the deal. It just never seemed an obvious win to me, and i don't feel particularly annoyed by it not happening. Thought we had a pretty good window last summer all things considered. Lets dust ourselves down and get this job done. Most important thing now is to get promoted. Window this summer will be the interesting one.......
  4. Probably - depends on your view point of whether you think KDH is really the man to take us forward in the PL. If you read most of the comments in here you would think the majority would be glad to get shot of him. If (*if*!) we get 30 million for him then potentially we have the ability to do dome shrewd (*maybe*) business that will soften the KDH blow. Does losing the deadwood make us weaker? Personally can't wait not to see Praet and Nacho on the teamsheet. Obviously, Vesty and Ndidi are a concern, but again most posters don't think Vesty should be retained anyway, and Ndidis last role in the PL (admit - a different manager and position) was a train wreck.
  5. The fact that a number of players leave on a free. I also think that we will sell KDH.
  6. Wasn't it completely different with Jack Harrison? I thought Leeds cancelled that at the last minute.
  7. Presume he will now be injured for a month or so.
  8. Bet he orders chicken korma and finds it a bit too hot.
  9. The guy is going to live in Tete's old apartment in Nottingham. What more does he want.
  10. I wont sing again until i get another coconut water.
  11. Presume the Johnson sale has meant they are ok.
  12. I’ll ask again. Does anyone have a working Docusign account? Rudders can’t remember his password.
  13. For long periods of time we have possess the ball in the opposition's half, and Man City do also possess in their own half and play out via the keeper. They are obviously much better at this than us
  14. You sensi motherf***r
  15. I hope it's him shaving his head to join the bald bastards brigade.
  16. You would have thought there would be at least one more Torino tweet. Feel sorry for the bloke if they dont like him anymore.
  17. Yes - i know. Just messing. Bet he ends up living in Nottingham though.
  18. Flying to Nottingham. Typical. Bet they find him a nice flat in the city there too.
  19. Hope hes nowhere near the starting 11 though.
  20. Didnt even know there was a market for players moving club. Can't imagine the bookies would let much liquidity rest on it. I probably wouldn't base too much on it being relevant. A tenner is probably enough to shift the odds.
  21. I flip flop on this, but i don't think Faes needs to be replaced. Before the rot truly set in last year has some decent games. If i was Vesty, i wouldn't be accepting a one year deal when i could likely be getting a signing on fee somewhere else with a little more commitment. But anything is possible. I think we should be looking beyond him now and hoping that medium term Ben Nelson is one of the answers. Might be a bit much to expect Nelson to kick on next season though.
  22. Good thing it's in his power to prove you wrong, which we all hope he will do. The kid is 19 and shows astinonshing potential. He's at times been inches away from some terrific moments, but we know that there are many things that can get in the way of progressing to the next level. Personally, i think he will be at one of the big 6 in 3 years. He seems the sort to get his head turned (im making that up) so if we complete the signing of him i expect a difficult 1st season in the Prem, and to then push on very well in the second. Then we get all the 'it was my dream to play for Chelsea' stuff. But, i think it will be a great few years before we hit that point.
  23. Hey mate - all 3 in my family were singing largely on our own in H block till the bitter end. My son wasn't actually feeling well at all after some food poisoning a few days before. I asked him if he wanted to leave early and he said 'absolutely not'. After the game we both went right to the front to show appreciation. The fact we were stood there largely on our own was a complete embarrassment. I'm 'happy' to say I thought it was one of my least favourite games of the season - im happy to offer some sort of critical assessment. However, i have no idea why you think i need thicker skin when I question 'some' of the fans view on all of this.
  24. I think that's what Enzo wants too. But the players are human, and i maintain that he doesn't have the squad he wants to execute this exactly as he wants. Tuesday, we had Praet playing in the Ndidi role, and this is a guy who barely presses and pulls out of every challenge. But, because he doesn't have all the tools he needs, it's not a reason to revert to something else, because even as it is its doing whats needed to get out out of this division. Getting better as a team involves work, training, refreshing the squad, learning from mistakes etc. It will take time. Some fans do need to exercise a little more patience, and also realise if that if they did their bit better, then they will actually help the team along the way. If on Tuesday it was rocking at 30 mins, do you think Swansea would have started to press much better? If we didn't have the embarrassing clear out in the KP on 85 mins and the stadium was showing some proper appreciation for a 3-0 win, would our heads of dropped for the last minute goal. Maybe, maybe not, but i would rather we were trying a bit harder rather than just whinging.
