Might even be fighting playoffs, how many awful draws or narrow defeats could his goals have turned round? And whilst he obviously can’t be the future, anyone who thinks he’s finished watch that goal against Juventus, outmuscling defenders and running half the pitch to score.
Coventry home springs to mind. Mavadidi hiting a lame shot for our biggest chance of the game.

He was one of them. And got paid handsomely. And still gets paid. No sympathy. Get rid of crap like this please rather that pay for it.

Part of me says no, stay on 200 goals, but then part of me says Rudkin will waste another 5m on a crap striker on a three year deal (roughly 32k a week plus wages) so if Vardy is willing, why not?
Vardy learning someone like Jake Evans for a year? What youngster wouldn’t want to learn from Vardy?
You saw how much BEK loved playing alongside him. Best tonic for these players.

Doubt we can afford him
He's not getting anything like he used to here, and it facing relegation anyway. Will a PL or Championship team take him - definitely not PL, and whats the point going to Bristol or Preston on the Championship.
Jamie Vardy + Leicester is hugely marketable. Fans will come and away ends will be more full than usual just to see him. Being part of another redemption story just ads to that.
Dont think it will happen though. But a part of me wants it to, just to remove the sh1t stain that was 'Ayew' written above the 9 shirt.

No I've not as it's a 480 mile round trip for me now. Also I'm not moaning nothings happening.
Instead of moaning when you're doing nothing try organising something.
People on here moaning but do nothing. None of us like it but don't bitch at others.
I what way is my post bitching? Im pointing out what i see, and that there is a level of irony between our opinions and our actions. Myself included.

Liam Manning as just left Huddersfield Town following taking some compassionate leave. Quite impressed the job he did at Bristol City, not so much at Norwich. Maybe he would be better in league one, ofc depends if hes looking to some time out of football for a bit.
Litterally one of the biggest frauds out there.
Horrible news that he is available, as this is exactly the sort of appointment we are likely to make.

Yeah great move.
So you've just put fuel in the runaway train and now complaining nothings happening.
When you renewed the ST did you sign up for KPFC Happy Clappers and KPPC.
Don't think you got the irony in my post - but yeah - just chuck happy clapper comments at me.
Have you been outside Seagrave holding KP out banners? If so - fair play. But my point is that i think its unlikely, and there is certainly no evidence of loud fan discontent at the moment. Its not happening. Whinging on a web forum really achieves nothing. When i asked what the fan group (who saw a big uptick in members recently, and everyone in my family joined) were doing I was told 'not to expect frequent communication'. The only strong messaging came ironically from the media after relegation, but thats all fizzled out. Maybe its coming, but my gut feeling is that the focus with the group is on a comms framework rather than currently standing up and holding the club to account. Again - thats fair if there is unanimous agreement that is the best way forward - i fully appreciate there may be limited opportunities to get this right.
As for me renewing my season ticket, it was a tough call. Its precious time with my boy who is by no means a glory hunter and just loves his football. If we didnt go, i would never get that time back in the same way. We boo, sing Rudkin out etc and we sit not far away from the singing section. My son even pointed out to people around us how ridiculous it was to be clapping Winks last few games. We are by no means happy clappers thank you very much, but thanks for chucking me in the bucket.

Leicester City transfers could offer breakout chance to Will Alves despite Huddersfield issues
Story by Jordan BlackwellWill Alves only made five League One starts for Huddersfield this season
It’s been four-and-a-half years since Will Alves’ Leicester City debut but a first league start for the club still eludes him. Next season is his best chance yet to finally make a breakthrough. While Alves’ name has been bandied about as a potential City star for some time, he only turned 21 last week. He is still in the infancy of his career.
However, it does feel like a breakout campaign is needed sooner rather than later to add some proof to the promise he has shown.
Jamie Vardy delivers in huge moment for Leicester City icon's survival fight
Marti Cifuentes opens up on 'very difficult' Leicester City problem as he reacts to relegation
He has been unfortunate to this point. The serious knee injury he was dealt in the FA Youth Cup late in 2022 required a long period in recovery, and he didn’t make his return to senior action until August 2024.
A loan spell at Cardiff for the second half of last season perhaps didn’t work out as planned because of the Bluebirds’ battle with relegation, which they eventually succumbed to.This season at Huddersfield didn’t go ideally either. A foot injury kept him out from late September to late December, and then he struggled to get back into the team on his return. He was hit by another month-long absence from mid-March to mid-April.
When he was named in the Huddersfield line-up for their final game of the season, it was just his fifth League One start of the campaign.
He played his part to sign off on a high though, acting boss Martin Drury saying after the 4-0 win over Wimbledon: “I thought Will Alves was really good today as well. That’s credit to Will in one-v-one moments.”
When Liam Manning of the Terriers first took charge in the winter, Alves struggled to get a look-in. Manning said it was due to the context of certain matches and a preference for players with more defensive attributes.
But the manager was keen to praise Alves’ approach in training, making it clear the attacker was doing everything right.
Manning said: “He’s trained really well, his attitude has been fantastic. He’s someone that, let’s be really clear, I do like, and I think is someone that will have an impact between now and the end of the season, and he’s just got to be ready when that opportunity arises.
“Will epitomises (what we want) in terms of how he’s gone about it: he’s got his head down worked.”
Alves was able to shine in moments. Despite the stop-start nature of his season, of players to play more than 500 minutes in League One, he ranked eighth in the division for successful dribbles.
That remains his best asset, in one-v-ones, and that probably points to being at his best on the left wing. He has played a lot centrally coming through the ranks at City, but the ability to take on a defender is best utilised out wide.
And it feels like the door may be open for Alves to play on the left wing for City next season. Jeremy Monga is a target for Manchester United and a host of big-name clubs, while it wouldn’t be a surprise if Stephy Mavdidi attracted interest from Championship sides.
The key to Alves’ success is marrying up that dribbling ability with creativity and a goal threat, and ensuring he stays fit long enough to enjoy a good run of matches.
As things stand, it feels like he is ready, and the opportunity is there, for him to finally have a go at making himself a City regular.
Manning is a complete Fraud.

Seriously where is the leadership in all of this?
But where is their accountability? (Myself included) none of us are making a fuss, other that posting on this forum.
The media started publishing some stuff about how appalling our situation was. Most of us just read it and shrugged our shoulders. Many of us (myself included) just renewed our season tickets.
Unless we do something to hold them to account, they will continue to behave like this. This isnt new, they behave like this everytime.

Just out of interest what could a club gain from spying on a training session? Seems risk outways reward by a massive amount.
If they spied on us they would have found out we played 4-2-3-1. Scandalous if they did this.

I asked in the Foxes trust thread what comms there had been between the trust and the club, and was told not to expect weekly communication. My question wasn't a complaint, more inquisitive. I signed up for a membership (which was cheap) so wondered if there were any next steps. Next steps all seem to be around communication frameworks, which is fine. Appreciate the importance of fans filling out the feedback etc to add weight to any communications.
Im just me, so have a very little voice in the grand scheme of things, but I'm a little surprised a fan group isn't taking the reins and being very vocal with the club right now. We are in a position where there is a strong possibility we could be in administration within the next year. Im starting to wonder (me included) what we are all scared of. Are we scared of stadium bans etc?

Correct decision or not, it's a goal that pretty much sums up everything I dislike about top-tier English football at the moment.
Almost every single player crowding the box, everyone's pushing and shoving and it's followed by a contentious decision that takes 6 minutes to reach. And that's not even the end of it. Then you get experts, pundits, everyone and anyone on X zooming in on still images, finding all sorts of slo-mo angles, pixelated clips, and other clips to show the inconsistency not only this season but also going back to previous seasons. And it's the same week after week. It does my head in.
I know football has always been a physical sport, but for me, it's reached a point where the physical grappling followed by the micro analysis of every tiny detail has become a bigger talking point than the actual high-quality football. It's why the first leg of PSG-Bayern was so refreshing to watch. I really miss watching players like Fabregas, Silva, De Bruyne, Hazard etc. lighting up the PL.
The one that gets me is both arms around a player to block him running being acceptable. You see this, blocking movement and shirt pulls time and time again. The reality is that if you follow what happened in this instance, most corners contain fouls.
Maybe the correct decision is reached here, but in real time I actually think for a contact sport, in the last minute of a game, it's all pretty innocuous in a crowded box. Arms have to go somewhere and i dont think the foul on the keeper is deliberate, and there is a huge amount going on where one foul leads to another. Even though he is clearly a great keeper, i think Raya makes a complete hash of this.
Personally, in this situation, I would rather we just went with the on field decision and if the ref blew for a foul I wouldn't mind at all. Its one made worse by slowing down replays and analysing from every angle. If we are going to do that here then we should be calling fouls for every scenario like this.

Has there been any communication from the club to the trust at all since the season ended. I know this is all early days even with the new trust setup, but im surprised about the lack of comms from all angles.
-
I have BC Game as much as a hated FBS. It pains me to say it though - we are going to need as much as we can get next season. This is one area im going to turn a blind eye to if they can get as much revenue as they can.
I hate all shirt sponsorship anyway. Don't buy into any of them being classic or 'nice' businesses.

Despite him being awful, I'd probably take Rowett staying on. I've got no confidence in the club making the right appointment. We'd be no worse off if we kept Cooper or RvN.
Rowett is a serial loser who plays the underdog card. It was rippling through his interviews and was part and parcel of our mentality of drawing games we should have won against teams who bang out of form. Probably why he bypassed the youth as well.
Next season we need a winner. Someone who is going to come in and push this lot to fight for automatic promotion. The club themselves need to deal with the cultural issues. Our technical director needs to clear out the problem players and give the manager the tools to suceed rather than leave it up to the manager to sort out the cultural failings.
A bit like you, i dont have a lot of confidence, but we have to have a bit of belief that the new technical director is going to come in and hit the ground running and do the best job he can, rather than simply be a puppet. I think a new tech director cannot let Rowett carry on - its not only the wrong decisions but also sends out the wrong message.

Southampton manager will do what he did against us. Change it up and then thump them.

I think he would absolutely destroy league 1. Make him captain, give him a bit of authority. Maybe even put him on some coaching courses. He's an England international!
I am pretty sure this exact sentence will be said by either Rudkin or Top over the next few weeks in an internal meeting.

BUT Rowett is bang on when he says that we need to use this as a chance to have a cultural reset and rediscover our identity - and we can't leave that down to Top and Rudkin who just bury their heads in the sand, make the same mistakes over and over again, with no real clue what they want to do, or how to achieve it.
Ruud said the same. Marti was baning on about it a lot, and seemed to be working hard on it whilst trying to be pragmatic.
Rowett isnt saying anything new here. If the management team wanted to listen, they would have had plenty of feedback by now.
Not convinced Rowett is the king of club cultural identity anyway.

If only he had a little more experience to work with.
Lets hope the meeting is simply an exit interview, and to hand his laptop back.
He can get back to his favourite hobby of relegating Championship clubs next season.
