You assume I'm anti BBC because I've expressed my disappointment regarding the specific criminal act. I've already said I'm still paying the fee despite not needing one. You're just chasing dragons and failing to see my point of view. BBC must publish a lengthy sincere apology but instead of doing this they're siding with politicians making the situation worse.
-
Are you a BBC employee? Can you please send the link that proves the licence fee is £100 a year? You're lying like all these BBC/Panorama criminals that deliberately stitched a video.
-
BBC will lose millions of people and it won't be able to generate revenue via the common commercial routes. It's not rocket science to understand that its reputation has taken a huge hit. It's one thing doing wishful thinking and trying to present the incident as a minor mistake but on the other hand the media market isn't operating like this. Because some of you believe nothing major happened doesn't mean this is the case. That said, will see very soon the impact or not of this "mistake".
-
That's the problem. I'm talking strictly about this BBC incident and you bring into the equation other media outlets. If you want to talk about all the others we can do it in a different discussion. And yes GB News is representing and talks to a certain political demographic and this is irrelevant to what happened at the BBC. It's a joke you're trying to put under the carpet this serious incident. I don't care how much precious is this corporation for you. BBC is finished and they should have been more careful. Now it's too late.
-
Minor issue stitching deliberately words and broadcasting in dozens of millions around the planet? Are you serious? Should I do the same to you then?
-
As I said trust is gone. I've still not cancelled my licence but I'm certain there are already thousands who cancelled theirs. I'm sorry but this kind of "mistakes" have consequences.
-
Again it doesn't matter if Trump sues or not. The damage is already done for the BBC and all trust is gone. You seem to be obsessed with the compensation.
-
Some of you are trying to deflect what actually happened by making historical references to the BBC, making the issue political etc. In none of my posts I've mentioned anything about left or right wing. They've made a "mistake", they need to be held accountable and pay the price. It's simple like that. Any trust is broken beyond repair. 3 of my colleagues at the office already cancelled their licence fee and it looks like millions will follow suit. This was a shocking own goal and unfortunately it will have deep consequences on the broadcaster. They don't even try to do some damage control and apologise properly. Today they're talking about "fighting for journalism". These guys live in an alternate own universe and they're making things even worse.
-
What are you talking about? I can understand international law isn't your field and also you need to be aware which countries are under international sanctions. I still don't understand your point. You can sue whoever you want if you believe they commited an offence.
-
Nonsense. You spin it however it suits you. Who is the attacker? Trump and the right wing? Your great British institution committed a crime, you have the top shelf of it resigning because of it and you have the audacity to play it victim chasing right wing ghosts?
-
BBC is broadcasting almost everywhere in the planet. Because the program aired also in specific states of America the local courts have the jurisdiction to deal with the potential lawsuit. Any court decision against BBC for example in Florida is directly enforceable and if BBC fails to comply there will be an international order against it.
-
Sorry but it seems you're not aware how BBC works and the procedures before a program is aired. They didn't miss the segment. The company who created the documentary deliberately under specific instructions doctored and stitched the different segments. Then the documentary went through the BBC quality control process and it was approved even though the "mistake" was spotted. I can't understand why some of you are trying to defend BBC on this matter. Do you think BBC is a national treasure or what? What happened is a total disaster, there are obvious criminal offences and it doesn't matter if Trump sues or not. As I said BBC is done and dusted and while it's sinking it will also be destroyed from the inside with more to come.
-
The broadcaster is liable. They also knew about this for months now and they didn't do anything. It's just laughable that you're trying to prove them innocent with childish excuses. "Still two bits of the same speech"! You can't be serious.
-
Then you're absolutely missing the point. If you believe any media can stitch and manipulate criminally speeches, events etc you have issues understanding the foundations of journalism and the basics of democracy. BBC is done and it's shocking how they've managed to self destruct.

I don't have a clue about the specific chant and the wording but even if it crossed the line this is not the way to communicate the matter. Idk in which cloud our board members are right now but there are at least 4 countries in Europe (Spain and Italy included) where the fans even go to players and to the training ground to express their feelings and they aren't at all polite. I don't like hateful chants etc but the board needs to wake up. This is the absolute wrong way to communicate and this club statement is embarrassing. Have any of the big clubs ever released statements about their YouTubers who most of the time cross this line? Nope. Good thing we don't have any major YouTuber because probably he would haven been in the court now by our board.

How this Juric guy is still in Atalanta after what happened mid week? Why they didn't sack him?

Commentator says Forest player engineered the contact, it's a pen! So how on earth was this a pen when the attacker is creating the contact by putting his body towards the defender? This was never a pen in the 80s and 90s. -

I don't think so. It's a decent team. Villa is a class above now they're having players back from injuries. Also Emery is a great coach/manager. One of the best now in Europe. -

Newcastle have some quality to avoid relegation battle but after 11 fixtures being just 2 points above 18th it does look bad for Howe. -
As this is my first test save I've closed the summer transfer window in the settings and kept all our players. 4-2-2-2 direct counter attacking. Played the 1st league fixture on comprehensive and full match vs Sheff Wed as I wanted to see if tactics and instructions are working properly. Won 4-2 and at least it seemed that giving away possession was reflected on the pitch and the players were hitting on the counter which is a positive for the ME. I'll continue playing all games in full match/comprehensive highlights. It takes a lot of time ofc but on extended it looks like you don't have any control tactically. Oh and UI is just atrocious, it's so bad beyond words. It doesn't matter if you get used to it eventually, it's an abomination.

7 Leeds players in the box and not a single one of them covering the middle of it. This is basic defending and it seems the majority of modern footballers don't have the brains to process simple tasks. -
I think it's quite simple? If as an employee you commute from far away and you're performing it's absolutely fine. If you're underperforming the long distance commuting comes into the equation. Might not be the reason for poor performances but questions are raised no matter what.

Are you 100% sure Marti picks the team?
-
If a player is travelling from Hampshire it's another joke. Every single player should be Leicester based. If we can't even force this just relocate the team. We'll at least get rid of the clappers this way.
