  1. Nope it's not the same. Which European countries have digital IDs? Can you please name them? This isn't a physical national identity card which the majority of European countries have since the 50s. It's a digital ID with extra sensitive, private information including a lot more details and open to additional ones (possibly dystopian ones). The citizens of UK were strongly opposed to physical IDs before. There's no way these plans will go forward for a digital ID and even if this gov insists there's going to be massive non compliance which will possibly bring the whole country to a bigger mess. Anyway, I find it unlikely this plan will go forward. Starmer will be forced to resign eventually.
  2. Angela Merkel.
  3. They're absolutely thick. I don't think any of them managed to go to secondary school.
  4. These football players don't have any common sense and basic intelligence. What was Leoni doing there? He managed to injure himself without a reason. In other news all teams have major issues in defending. It's just laughable right now. There's no positioning awareness at all. And then you have some great minds like Ekitike who scored a tap in and decided to celebrate like he won the Champions League for his team. Red card.
  5. Excellent drama today for everyone watching Red Zone.
  6. Ball doesn't bounce on the pitch. Game should be abandoned and start from the beginning in November....
  7. You're naive if you think these refs make decisions on their own. The decisions are given to the refs by certain people in studios and offices.
  8. This isn't a yellow card but I'll take it. The more this sport is going down the drain the better.
  9. Cucurella will spend the HT break with his hair dryer.
  10. He had all the time not to just punch but gather the ball. I went to the toilet while the ball was in the air and when I came back it was finally coming down.
  11. How on earth this wasn't a pen? What's going on?
  12. Enzo is probably thinking: Let's keep it at 1-0, win a few corners and they might score a few own goals. This might be a Maresca masterclass in the end.
  13. It was offside. The league is corrupted and rigged to the core. Where's the replay??
  14. Big Sam there waiting for the job.
  15. Did you actually read my post? This is the minimum alternative to the other one saying the game should be played fully on a later date.
  16. Ofc you can't replicate the exact same conditions regarding fitness, tiredness etc but you need at least to replicate the standard match conditions as they occurred in 78 or so minutes. I can't understand your objection. Do you want also some people around the pitch holding hoses to replicate rain?
  17. Nope. The only fair way to do it is to continue the game tomorrow afternoon under closed doors (unless they have a system to let fans in again which I doubt they do). Play the remaining minutes tomorrow. Any other future day will cause genuine disruption as players get injured etc and the league will be in jeopardy.
  18. We don't even have common sense rules for simple things like suspended/abandoned football games. It doesn't matter if it's the first minute or the 90th minute. The rule should be a continuation of the game under the same conditions (red cards etc) the next day. So the game must continue tomorrow for the remainder of time. But noooo. Why do that? Make everyone suffer more because we're elitists and we make the most bizarre rules for the sheep to follow. Rant over.
  19. Oh well, I admit I got it wrong (so far). This doesn't change my opinion that Still is a good manager. I can see his vision and Southampton has a lot of spells of good direct football in their games. Ofc it's not enough because the results are poor. Still early but I deserve the mocking.
  20. The amount of OGs in modern football is staggering. It happens mainly because the majority of modern defenders lack intelligence of positional defending.
  21. Man Utd will probably be in the relegation zone after this weekend. It's bizarre Amorim starts Maguire, Shaw and Casemiro against a team with quick pace like Chelsea. Another manager who was hinting at resignation but the sacking compensation is too big to ignore. He's lucky he's not in a Mediterranean country football club, he would have been forced by the fans to resign. Next manager: Southgate? Xavi? Spalletti? Conceicao? Terzic?
  22. Bad career decisions have consequences. He'll end up in Championship within 3 years unfortunately. He's also too relaxed for a top flight footballer which isn't a bad thing imo because he's an intelligent lad compared to others. Maybe he's just entertaining himself while earning some good money and it's enough for him?
  23. There are certain fellow fans who are very lenient with our managers the last 3 years. I understand the majority of our players aren't top quality and I also don't expect us to go up this season because we'll need another 20 decent players in PL to even claim we're gonna fight to stay up. So it's not happening. BUT even if a manager inherited this dross I can't understand how he can't see this shambles in the midfield and up front. Because Ayew was roaming around under this manager's instructions.
  24. You can't build a team with Soumare in midfield and Ayew on top while also having him roaming left, right and middle like an idiot. There were times he was running back in the midfield while we were attacking with Fatawu and I thought I was watching some sequel of Dumb and Dumber. I'm sorry but if a manager is alright with this farcical positioning I'll criticise him as much as I want.
  25. Yeah, because watching 3 (!) times Ayew running back to midfield (!) while we were attacking makes so much sense that we're not allowed to react, criticise or comment on it.
