I have a lot of friends in some of the Mediterranean countries who became fans during our PL win season. They're all still watching every single game of the team no matter if we're in PL or Championship. Some of them are also organising trips to watch a couple of home games every season. I think the impact when we won the PL and the FA Cup was big. They're all attached emotionally now and they care. All these friends are from Spain, Italy and Greece and they have a different emotional mentality. Probably it's not the same in Germany or USA.

Almost the same experience as you and I can confirm HMRC is miles better than the equivalent authorities of some other countries in Europe. Ofc HMRC has its own organizational issues mainly because the recruitment in public sector is lacking quality but they are definitely less bureaucratic and more citizen friendly than other European countries.

It seems that football rules are different here. Goalkeepers can freely roam out of the goal line. I'm not even going to comment on the toddlers quality of pens which is expected but at least they need to stick with the official rules of the sport because this was disgusting.
