Even if I donate 1 billion pounds to RVN and the rest "professionals" we have in the scouting and recruiting department they will spend it to buy new shoes for Soumare.
-
Look, I get your point of view but I was a "moaner" since the summer regarding recruiting and especially criticised heavily the bizarre appointments of a Forest reject and someone who declared himself as a football manager. So simply put, no I'm not happy and I find it hard to believe these players played for the shirt yesterday. And certainly I'm not clapping for anyone in the club because from top to bottom are all responsible for this mess.
-
You must be kidding me. Let's have a parade also.
-
I reckon your thinking is that Man City will get a relegation punishment? Maybe but again we're worse than Ipswich. This is the sad truth.
-
Idk a single fan of ours who enjoyed a draw vs Brighton while we're already relegated. Even if we won all the games left there's no way we were catching on Wolves. I said it when Wolves were struggling that they're a better team than Spurs and Man Utd.
-
Pep didn't invent the wheel with possession based football, he manipulated it by having billions to spend to bring in the best. This increased the gap and forced other teams to apply severe defensive tactics to survive.
-
It's not only PSR. It's the brand of football combined with these laughable primadonnas who identified themselves as footballers. It's a sideways and back passing borefest, I'd rather watch a 3h chess game than this abomination with the stupid rules for everything happening on the pitch.
-
I don't want us relegated but you're pragmatic and the fact is we can't escape. I was in this foul mood until late September/early October, I tried to warn about the outcome earlier in the summer as I was hugely against both the management and recruiting. By warn I mean posting here because there's nothing else we can do, we're not in Spain or Italy where the fans can "influence" board decisions with their actions.
-
Wolves are a better team than Man Utd and Spurs. There was no way they were going down. The other two are proper Championship quality. Too bad we're also Championship quality with a National League quality manager in charge.
-
If any of the 3 promoted teams were only just half decent, Man Utd and Spurs would have been fighting for their lives in a brutal relegation battle.

Idk what our scouting team is doing. This 17yr old Karetsas (Genk team in Belgium) is a huge talent. -

I've said it many months ago here. Greece has one of the most impressive, talented national teams alongside the English one in Europe. It's simply down to the managers in both teams to utilise this talent and also find some defensive balance. -
Spot on mate. Fans don't care, they just want their team to do well. Right now there are several PL teams run by criminals. This is a fact. The whole sport, gov bodies and regulators are promoting the corruption. It's disgusting.
-
I know some of you are arguing how lucky or not Forest are this season or whatever, it's pointless really, who cares. The question is if PL will do anything about their ownership or they'll continue to protect corrupt owners like they did for years with the Russian oligarchs and the Saudi butchers. Here's an update from today: https://en.protothema.gr/2025/03/23/lyggeridis-family-more-than-mere-indications-exist-that-a-powerful-figure-and-a-mayor-financed-a-gang-of-thugs-leading-to-our-childs-murder/ I'll keep on posting updates about this as it seems PL and the government here don't have a clue about the case.

England Squad - Tuchel's first
Fear Of The Fox replied to UniFox21's topic in General Football and Sport
The only positive thing is that the team is moving the ball quicker and there's kinda more intensity. That's it. Everything else is again Spursy-esque. Any other opposition would have scored between the 60-75min as the defense was all over the place. First occasion, Albania finds 3 vs 2. Second one, 3 players are losing a header and there's suddenly a 1vs1. Dont let the 2-0 score fool you. Any other team from the big 4 European football nations will punish us right away in these situations. -
Look at the bright side: Ryan Reynolds will be in Leicester next season with Blake. I'm sure they'll get a clapping standing ovation...
-
If I'm not mistaken the player already said it was a double touch. Do I agree with the rule? Ofc not. I also don't agree with the offside, handball and simulation ones and all these have made the sport kinda unwatchable for me. It's been an awful football season with our Leicester team failing big time also. Can't wait for MLB to start now to enjoy at least a sport I like.
-
I don't disagree with what you're saying. I'm just saying they have the evidence of the double touch because of the specific tech. We're the ones assuming regarding the incident because we only have 2 replays which aren't clear and tbf we can't see a double touch. Don't forget that this offside tech uses around 25 sensor cams. Initially these sensors check when the ball touch/pass occurred. It's not something revolutionary, it's just the tech football videogames use for decades implemented in real life. The sensors picked up a second ball touch and this is displayed as a graph.
-
There isn't one. We can only assume there was a double touch because the ball rises quite strangely. Either way VAR used the ball touch technology which is integrated into the semi automatic offside tech. This means some of the sensors picked up a double touch.
-
These replay angles aren't the best. The fact is that the ball elevates in a non natural way after the kick though. Impressed again by the CBS coverage. It's depressing how bad is the Sky coverage in general compared to CBS.

Either me or Slot were watching a different game.

So one win was enough for PSG to take them from Round 16 straight to Semi Finals...
-
Let the Anfield diving games begin! No contact at all and he dives like he's been shot in Sniper Elite. These incidents should be a straight red card and a 5 games ban.
-
Just switched to stadium FX on the Prime broadcast. I'll experience the "amazing" Anfield atmosphere when this is 0-3 or 0-4. It should have been 0-3 already tbf.
