Driven uk>Eindhoven about 25 times since covid started. Not once checked. Only time there could be a check is at Belgium TO France just before the tunnel. But it’s about 1 in 100 cars they pull over for random reason so wouldn’t worry about that either. The rerouting around the tunnel in Folkestone is veeeeeeeery badly signposted now with the detours so use navigation and keep eyes open cause it’s badly done around the m20. You can pass all trucks but there also some smarter detours so check gps for options. Check 1 hour before arrival also https://www.eurotunnel.com/uk/travelling-with-us/latest/ to see the current situation. Should be fine once you arrive as tunnel itself is usually fine unless some major incident going on I always been on easily. You can arrive 2hrs before your set time and they let you onto the first available.

Bus leaves right in front of the (small) airport. Can’t really miss it. There’s a direct one and one that stops at a few stops. Doesn’t really make much of a difference. Both are fine. Wouldn’t bother ever with taxi/Uber as prices are ridiculous in Holland and buses are nice.

You can just make your own way into the city. It’s just a offer that they know 30%+ will take up so saves them some trouble. If you don’t stay in Amsterdam can just walk out of the stadium to your hotel. Altho depending on result/circumstances you might be held back in stadium for 15/30 minutes until it gets bit more quiet around the stadium. So be prepared for that

The stadium station is never used except for when Ajax comes and some foreign away fans. You literally walk trough that ugly tunnel you see above and wait at that station for the train to ams. It’s a chartered train so it will only have Leicester fans and won’t stop anywhere except ams. Just a way of Dutch police trying to prevent trouble after the game. Depending on how result goes it could easily kick off after euro games. Some ‘younger fans’ trying to show off and get some rep let’s say at these kinda games You basically don’t leave the ground into ‘neutral’ area but directly from stadium into the tunnel onto the platform so you don’t get close to the home fans saving the police trouble and you get a free ride I would take the train and take a short hopover to Schiphol after indeed. Just a quick 10min so.

You do realise psv and Ajax both are qualified for champions league so the ‘europa league place’ doesn’t interest anyone. It goes to the number 3 of the league so it’s not much to play for but honours. Same for the cup game it’s not like the fa cup. It’s a crappy cup that 80% of fans don’t care too much about. Only because it’s against Ajax people turn up and it has some meaning but ecl def. more going for it as it’s new so the fans more interested in winning it. Only his second game this year we bought a new goalie cause mvogo sucked so badly all season last year then the new one was even worse (see how much goals we got against this year). Last weekend drommel was so bad mvogo (on loan btw) got a new chance today. Glad he catched all balls atleast. Prob will stay in now for a while.

We aren’t playing well either. Our best player doesn’t get any proper ball on the left and defence making silly mistakes too.. Leicester should really profit from it in this game cause we are really strong at home. The way it goes now it prob ends 1-0.

Had medical issues since hence why we got the chance to sign him.. decent player, great in small spaces but not the player he used to be for sure.

isn’t in the best form lately (actually started on bench most of the last few games). Tend to be a real ‘moment’ footballer. Can score amazing goals or put a amazing dribble now and then but refuses to helps defense/control the game therefore the manager wasn’t too happy with him and choose Doan over him. I reckon he play tho tonight but prob subbed around 60/70 as his fitness level isn’t the best either.. I don’t think he is ready for the next step at all and prob needs atleast a year more in Eindhoven before his next step. In the PL he will be injured within 2 weeks the way he plays.
