This team comes straight back up. That's the reality. There's a lot of doom mongering but Sheffield Utd are coming straight back up, taking our cast offs and having Hamza play regularly in the starting line up. The standard is shit. Leeds are top, and this Leeds side is worse than the one that came 3rd and fxxked the playoffs last season. Summerville and Rutter are big losses, as well as Archie Gray. And they're pissing it. The problem isn't getting back up. The problem is you need to be so much better to survive. We need to sign more Mads, Fatawus, Bilals and steer the fxxk clear of the Reids, Ayews and Skipps. A team full of those latter 3 can probably still go back up, but it can't stay up. It's all a bit moot though as we as fans don't want the team that goes down to be the one that plays for us in the Championship, so how it'd do is largely irrelevant. We know Vestegaard can do a good job at CB at that level. We also know he's a liability at Prem level. We know we can get away with Faes having brain farts in the championship. We know we can't at Prem level. We know there are players who will want moves away that have already shown they don't cut it at prem level anyway. So we'll look to get rid. VK is absolute dogshit for the premier league, but probably looks alright at Champ level. But we should be showing him and others the door. But all this is an indictment of the standard below rather than the quality we possess. It's going to be a busy summer. You'd expect Ipswich to do better than us next year based on our current squads, but I think they'll struggle to keep Delap who is massively important to them. Will us losing Vardy be as much of a blow? Based on the way this season is going at least?
