  1. I reckon they'd have waited until the last game to see if it would be enough to send us down...
  2. And let's not forget, this Chelsea team lost to Ipswich.
  3. But then a 10 point deduction. Wait for it...
  4. You've showed him his arse there lad!
  5. I reckon they'll play Trossard central tbh.
  6. Fortunately it wasn't that bad!
  7. We haven't even kicked off yet!
  8. People talking about Arsenals potential front line are forgetting that they're a set-piece team now. How good are we with those again?
  9. I don't care where he goes, I care about who pays most. If that's Chelsea, so be it.
  10. Ayew and Reid are supposedly both on less a week than Souttar. Their combined wage is lower than Coadys.
  11. We need to be in reach by April 26th. Then we've got the relegation playoffs. Wolves, followed by Saints, Forest thrown in, then followed by Ipswich. 3 must win games if we're still in with a shot by then. 9 games before then. Might be asking too much.
  12. He doesn't need to mention Cannon because he hasn't been part of the squad this season so he can't be missed. Ironic cos he misses a lot.
  13. I'd prioritize a "no rapist" policy ahead of defensive ability.
  14. If it's a can of peaches it's got a shelf life of way more than 4 years, so you and the kids should be ok there.
  15. Italian clubs don't buy players, so that's an idea you can fxxk right off.
  16. Or maybe, we just don't.
  17. Possibly, though in that case there should be an initial fee followed by some sort of multiplier when criteria is met. Not only because then it doesn't take the piss getting some actual money but some players might decide that they're better off staying put sometimes in case their new club decides not to play them in order to save a few quid. Might also make the new club think twice about taking the player if they know they'll be forking out for, let's say the length of the players first contract.
  18. Summer shopping list currently includes Craig Dawson, Ashley Young and as he'll have turned 30 by then and doesn't score goals we'll be bidding for Fulhams forgotten man, Carlos Vinicius. Presumably bidding against ourselves on that one. I wonder how high we'll push ourselves.
  19. Think you might be unaware of Plymouths current position!
  20. Bare in mind there were a decent number of posters on here calling Bilal crap and a waste of money after a few appearances.
  21. He did well playing off of Rodon. We didn't play that way or have a player like him. That summer I wanted us to go for Bowen and Che Adams for the right wing and back up to Vardy. We ended up with Perez as a sort of 2 for the price of 1 but ended up not really being either. Now I know Che didn't do much, but he was only £10mill of f the back of a decent season for Birmingham. In fact he had a mad season for them before he went to Southampton.
  22. He'd just come off the back of a 6 goal in 45 games Championship season as a striker. I think Bilal will be thought of highly enough.
  23. George Rutter says different.
  24. It's almost like it's "by design" isn't it?
  25. Watched the Sheff Utd game and ex-player Cannon was anonymous and Hamza was typical of his time here. A real headless chicken performance from the lad. Hopefully a one-off under Wilder. Had a gander on the Blades forum and one poster had this to say: He is only in the CB spot when he’s trying to get the ball off the keeper or CBs, if he doesn’t get the ball he’s basically out of play as he just trots about. If he does make forwards runs but doesn’t get the ball again he stays out of position and just trots back. I’ve been watching him closely and time and time again in the middle of the pitch/centre circle we don’t have a player near it as Sousa/Hamer will be getting involved slightly out to the left and Choudrey is trotting about slowly near the CBs. He really is leaving big holes and space in the midfield for pompey to exploit. And if he does get a foot in it is because the ball happens to come very close to him as opposed to him getting there and breaking play up, other than that I’m not sure what he’s doing just trotting about, even for their goal positional im not sure what he’s doing, trots out towards the wide man without really trying to get there and he’s totally took himself out of the game. He’s been really poor for me. Well they all have to be fair. Which is a great summary of what he's all about basically and why he's nowhere near good enough, even if we go down. Hopefully Wilder gets a decent number of positive performances out of him and doesn't see the flaws. They got 3 points after all.
