  1. Cooper was total dogshit. Set up to hold onto a 0-0 every game and when we inevitably conceded his gameplan went out the window and it was a free for all to see if we could score next which we generally didn't. Most gutless fxxking football you'll ever watch.
  2. We just buy and sell him straight on. We can't afford not to buy him if we go down.
  3. I can honestly say I'm near 100% confident we avoid that 3rd relegation spot.
  4. I know what you're saying but the very idea that Monga will barely cost anything is the very reason we won't be inclined to sell him. And if it's a minimal fee for Nelson, same thing goes even if we lose him on a free the following season. The incentive to sell is to reduce on inflated wages and maximize incoming revenue via transfer fees. The players with low to no transfer fee along with low wages won't make sense to sell as they'll need replacing so there's no cost benefit to doing it.
  5. Unless it's in the contract that our option is only available if we are in the Champ or above, which would seem a massive oversight if that were the case, then you buy him and sell him on. There will be plenty of interest.
  6. I'm not sure they will be. Despite the fact we'll be dropping a level, they've not torn up any trees themselves, we won't be getting Prem offers for them, so it's champ level teams and so champ level financial offers. We still need to put a team out next season so we can't just sell everyone. They're low earners (comparatively) with low market value at the moment. Besides, I needed players.
  7. No, I've thought ""Who is actually going to be here next season?".
  8. There was a lion, in the jungle, laying on the ground close to death. All the animals of the land we’re crowded around, taunting and poking fun at him. A mouse scurried atop the lion, and while dancing on his nose said ‘He can’t do anything to us now!’. The animal crowd laughed and continued to make fun of the lion. With all the energy left in his body, the lion lifted his head and said ‘Mock me now, but, I was a lion once.'
  9. Obviously we need bare goals, and I think he's out of contract this summer, so makes sense to add him. Then if we can take Pierce Charles off of Wednesday that's a bonus. If that side doesn't rack up 139 points next season then the game's gone.
  10. Define "Hyperbole".
  11. The thing is it's enforced slowness. By himself! He could run but thinks that action is only for getting up to a defender to then try and ultimately fail in dribbling past them. Cue blocked shot or pass back. That's why Rowett should have them switch sides, so they can't keep coming inside and have to use a bit of pace and get to the byline.
  12. I think that goes hand in hand with ruining him though. We have very few players that make telling contributions at the right end of the pitch so they're under more pressure to basically carry the rest. Fatawu is the biggest example of that. He's taking on players and shots too often because he likely has little faith in anyone else to do the business. I think the system is more setting Page back. He's better as an 8 and won't get in the side ahead of the other options. Unfortunately it seems all our managers want to play a 10 in a 4231 and although Page could do it, and while Page could do that, Rowett isn't going to play whoever he thinks is better for the role right now and not think about developing anyone. He'll get plenty of time next season though.
  13. When we went up I said we should get Jonathan Rowe in as a cheap bit of competition for him. Stupid fxxking idea.
  14. As well as ideas and ability. Great mix.
  15. In fairness to him, in training the ball always seems to fall to one of our players...
  16. Bit pathetic of their keeper to roll about claiming he's been hurt and their defender saying he's been stamped on despite our nearest player being about 3 foot away from him.
  17. Unlucky Jamaal. If we played this way from the outset we'd be fine. Actual bodies in the box to hit.
  18. But there's definitely something to suggest it's a team in the relegation zone.
  19. If we get 5 minutes out of him, he might still get MotM.
  20. Probably warranted given the goal output from the rest of the players this season.
