I think this comes from the fact we have a good ball playing back line but a slow back line, as such we're not playing in a high line and so there's more space between defence, midfield and forwards. Ideally the back line could move up, so there's less distance between the players, but then we leave ourselves in trouble to pace in behind. That way though the mids could link up better with the wide players and they can play off them rather than having to win duels all the time. But the confidence isn't there in the defensive line is it? Mads should be almost an outfield player, but he'll be on his line all game.

VK got so easily dragged out of position there to leave Omari open.

Mav seems to have more space to work in than Fats, but he's only getting the ball from switch passes giving them time to setup.

Feels like there's a big space between VK and Mav, they're not linking together or offering eachother options. Mav seems to be relying on cross field balls to get on it.
