Ipswich away 2nd November Match Thread
JimJams replied to ozleicester's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hopefully it's not a reaction to the midweek mess. But probably pressure to include Vesty in a game we could have the better of the possession and it's arguably safer to play two CB's who played a full season together than to play Vesty with Okoli. Just wondering what VK does if this is indeed a return to last seasons system. -
I guess we'll see.

It's very Brendanesque in that regard. -

I reckon McKenna will have instructed them to go balls out in the opening 15 minutes and try to catch us sleeping as so many others do. Get through early pressure and I think we'll do them. 0-6. -

There's not enough time to change it by deed poll for this match. Maybe during the International break, so then he can't travel cos it'll be different to his passport. I like your thinking. -
Hopefully it's a tactical change because he feels like we don't need Okolis pace with likely Hirst up front and Vestys passing range should help if we expect to have more of the ball. Rather than due to the midweek mess. Although it might be because I put Okoli in my fantasy footy team.

Just seen the Sky highlight, he does catch him. grabs round his ankle.
-
Looking at the pen he won, I'm not convinced the keeper got him. From one angle it looks blatant, from another you can't see contact. Just wonder if the keepers hand catches his foot cos it's obscured on the replay from the stand. Edit: Not that I'm arsed he's won one either way.

Although at present we have conceded less goals than them. And we score more than them. So currently the numbers favour us.

Trying to get in a Buo successor early! Valued at €10mill in the summer. More than double that now!
-
I wonder if he can play fullback!

I've just had a quick check back over the first couple of pages and from those giving predictions, it's about 20 to 4 calling an Ipswich win. And that's without putting comments like the following in the frame: Incidentally one of those in favour of a Leicester win then went on to predict us for a loss on the following page. Arrogant as fxxk!

With the ball I think he's a good player. Without the ball he's always been a bit clueless. And given the position he plays, that's a massive flaw.

Lucas Paqueta is set to miss West Ham's Premier League clash with Leicester in December after being summoned to appear in front of a betting investigation in the Brazilian parliament.

We're rolling up to yet another international break, and as before I think that opens up a window to bring someone new in and give them a bit of time. As a result Cooper needs 3 points from the next 2 really. Though I think if he scrapes 2 draws he'll be kept on. A win against Ipswich and he's staying, regardless. A draw and loss to Utd he'll be on thin ice. 2 draws I think will see him squeeze by. If we lose to Ipswich but get a win at Old Trafford he'll definitely stay. Assuming any loss to Ipswich isn't so bad that he gets the boot before the Man Utd game.

I'd rather we draw 25. Think that'd keep us up!

That little passing move from Bilal to Ayew down the right shows El B is capable of the level we want.
-
Chelsea and Man City both 2 goals down in their games. Are we gonna throw a competition where the big boys fall at the early hurdles?
-
She'd be more qualified to manage us than Cooper.
-
BOOM! 8-2 is on...
-
This might seem a bit premature but.... Game over?
-
He is indeed, but this blaming him for things like that is pretty pathetic. What's he gonna do about that goal?
-
Hmmm....
-
Nice goal Bilal, but what a place to give away a free kick

Some woman of the portly nature just started doing some vocal warm ups.
