A solid showing from the reserves today should see us extend the gap over the leeches beneath our feet. Just don't shit your britches when we're not 2-0 up within 5 minutes. At 10 minutes, fine.

Interesting the way he's worded that and made a comparison to Doyle. Clever in a way because it's complimentary to both whilst highlighting things they can and need to improve upon without being derogatory. Doyle will have been told he can improve the technical aspects of his game to get to the next level, Faes his focus.

Tbf I think so far he looks like a player that probably isn't playing the position in a way he's used to and isn't quite sure if he's doing the right thing. I think for the U21's he covered an area of the pitch further forward than he'll be required to as one of our 8's. So knowing when and where to be is a different kettle of fish for him. That could just be bollocks though. Somebody that loves heat maps could probably tell you if there's any/much difference to how he's used for Italy and how we want to use him.

We got a glimpse of what he can offer in his final Galatasaray game. He's got vision and the technical ability to utilise that vision. I think he'll be a very valuable addition. With time, he might displace a starter.

Why not? Palhinha went to Fulham and very nearly found himself at Bayern. It's only cos Fulham couldn't find adequate cover that they never let him go in the end.

Well when we get promoted we'll be joined by two other teams that will be 20-40 points worse than us this year. We just need to be better than one Premier League hanger on from this season and things will be rosy. We'll piss it.

Kel and KDH have had decent showings given how their form has been lately. Good sub showing from Kel and a solid consistent 90 from KDH.

Can you imagine what the scorelines are gonna be like when it all eventually clicks?

Although I get why we do that pass from Mads to a marked man for them to pass outside when under pressure to draw players in, it does make for an incoming injury when tackles like the one that just went in occur. Somebody is going to get raked out of a game...
