Last time we went via M57 and A580 and parked at Walton soccer centre. If you've got no colours on you can go for a pint in the Top House nearby but no away fans allowed. Not sure of away fan pubs if you come in from that way. This time we are stopping for a couple at Vikings landing 3 miles away then parking up.

Windsor Road near Clifton Arms pub is nearest place I found without parking restrictions. About a 20 min walk. The Flat Iron pub is on the way ish and is friendly towards away fans as long as your not a bellend.

I parked on Dawnay Street last season. Free on street parking and a 15 min walk to ground. Easy route back to M67 also.

Took my lad last season and he loved it. He was 10 and been taking him away from age 7. Everyone stands at away games but some grounds are steep enough for kids to still see and this is one of them. If not he just stands on a seat. My guess is if he likes home games he will love away games, more passion and singing kids love it. Outside the ground is a fanzone, not great if your with blokes but ideal if your with kids, loads of places to eat and stuff going on. They have a camera going round filming people onto a massive screen, my lad and his mate got on and, in a very proud Dad moment, unzipped their coats to show their Leicester shirts. The camera soon panned onto someone else !
