Knocked out of the FA Youth Cup by Bolton on penalties. Bit of heartbreak for De Lisle who slipped and missed his penalty. Only watched parts of the second half & extra time but we looked pretty poor. So many poor passes and decision making wasn’t great. Bolton looked like they had a clear way of playing and generally just the better side. Will Daniels at LB looked bright & Riley Carr is a very pacy RW. Hutchinson scored and looks technically very solid.

I can see him being recalled and sent somewhere in England. It’s done Braybrooke wonders.

Wonder if any of the bigger clubs regret not picking him up? Saying that, Cremonese are a great fit for him. Underdog mentality, the way they play suits him well as they do try find him with balls in behind a lot. I’ve watched most of their games when he’s started and he’s still playing as if it’s his first game in professional football. He has the hunger and you can tell the other players love him.

That’s a fair point and I wouldn’t be bothered if he stayed at Newport. I reckon there’ll be a few league one sides that would be interested in him so will be interesting to see what happens. From watching him a fair few times this season he is IN MY OPINION way better than League Two but like you said, main thing is he’s playing 90 minutes every week.
