I remember never being that impressed with KDH for the u21s Braybrooke has so much technical ability that you feel it’ll only be his size that holds him back

I’ve always liked the look of Cartwright in the limited times I’ve seen him. Doesn’t really get mentioned a lot so maybe a reason. He really impressed me when they played Notts County in the EFL trophy.

Looks like Cartwright, Braybrooke, Evans, Aluko, Jospeh and Golding all in training this week

Think I can see Braybrooke, Golding, Evans, Cartwright, Aluko and 1 more academy lad I don’t recognise in the training footage. Think it could be Jayden Joseph

He did and to be fair he put himself about and got stuck in but technically was way off it. He’s now not making the squad for Tamworth in the national league. You have to wonder what conversations went on in him being called up.

Lewis Brunt used to get picked under Rodgers in cup games if I remember correctly? Another one who was older & stronger. Funnily both him and Raikhy were ex Villa youth.

Arjan Raikhy comes to mind. Only picked last season because he was physically big and older. Now can’t even get in the Tamworth squad.

Considering he’s someone who’s worked in the youth set up I found it odd how the suggestion of some academy lads getting a chance in the senior side seemed to bother him? I really didn’t like the way he talked about them. So bizarre.

Yep this is exactly what I’ve been thinking with him. Alves seems to have got back on track after his ACL but not sure with Braybrooke. Sad really.

I fear we’ve messed with Braybrookes development a bit not sending him to an EFL club this season. But im well aware I’ve got zero idea what goes on behind the scenes and perhaps simply nobody was interested.

I think he seriously overestimated the quality of the championship as well if he thinks we can’t have a few academy lads featuring as key players. It’s absolutely dreadful at the bottom.

Yeah that comment about Nelson was odd. There was just something about the way he spoke about the academy lads that seemed off.

He did seem like a guy that if any of them made a serious counter point things could get very awkward

Always good to have someone on who’ll offer a different opinion even if I don’t particularly agree but he completely lost me when he said we need to remember “we’re Leicester city” He clearly knows way more than me because he actually works in football but I don’t get how a few guests now can say how great Rudkin is but the footballing decisions for the last few years have been so dreadful?
