Mother’s Day lunch at The Griffin in Swithland yesterday was nothing short of epic. As a massive roast potato fan I was very impressed that they come round and offer you as many extra ones and also extra Yorkshire puddings when you are in the middle of your roast. Really good service to go along with the excellent food and wine.

They have increased the amount of tickets you can forward to 10 per game. We have tickets for myself, my wife and my son. He wants to keep going so we are renewing. If it was just us two, we wouldn’t bother. We get a taxi to the ground and walk 40 minutes home. It is the thoroughly depressing walk home after a loss that is doing my head in.

Up to date with the new series of Reacher. The series is far better than the films which had Tom Cruise completely wrongly cast in the role. Still not a patch on the books though. Watching Land Man on a recommendation and it is very good.
