  1. I've sometimes wondered if Chandler and l444ry are the same person. The fact that they are arguing and debating in this thread has bizarre and potentially worrying implications but I can't help but notice their writing styles amongst other more subtle similarities. That said, I may be talking complete arse.
  2. I was left thinking the same thing. On a side issue one thing that puzzles me about you Chandler is why you choose a Leicester City forum to air the findings of whatever kind of investigation and timelining you find yourself involved in during and after "events" such as Madeleine's disappearance. Particularly as you rarely, if ever, post any comments about Leicester City. Do you post on other forums? I would have thought a site specifically for the discussion of conspiracy theories (there must be one, right?) may prove a much more rewarding and satisfying outlet to publicise your sometimes intriguing other times fruitless posts. Anyway, I'm not complaining, just thinking out loud.
  3. Indeed. And I wouldn't be surprised to find myself eating my own words in the not too distant future. Women are definitely trouble. But they're also pretty f**king great as well.
  4. Yes it will. It's part of the banter of a relationship. And it's also a challenge. After 6 years with my (now recently ex ) girlfriend I managed to get her to kind of enjoy watching football. Although taking her to Leicester was a bad idea - it was a 1-0 home loss to Wigan in their promotion season, we were AWFUL. I've had a pretty rollercoaster week. I discovered that getting involved with a gorgeous little auburn-haired lady (haha sounds a bit Ultra-eqsue that - but at least I'm telling the truth!) just after splitting up with my long term girlfriend was an ill-advised move. May sound odd but I'm realising how much I miss the ex and that other girls, no matter how fit, don't quite compare right now. I'm going to enjoy single life for a bit. Mates, football and fun only. Women are Trouble.
  5. I'll get the ball rolling: Goat Sacrifice
  6. I have CDO. It's like Obsessive Compulsive Disorder just with all the letters in the right order. Like they should be. How many eggs does it take to make an omelette? One egg is un oeuf.
  7. I see your point although she's probably trying to quell her own guilt. Understandable I guess.
  8. I have a movie on my computer that is a .avi file. I wish to copy it onto a DVD+RW disk. Is this possible?
  9. That's quite an assumption to make isn't it? That all 450 kids were just running away from home. Even if only one was abducted it demonstrates the disproportionate and fanatical media coverage of this individual case. Kids go missing all the time. Face it, this particular story sells newspapers - Madelaine's family should be damn grateful for that. Compared to other parent's nightmares they are getting immeasurably more support and help. I don't begrudge them obviously but to me this reveals the best and very worst of the media.
  10. Err surely the scent would still have been there if someone had taken her? How do you know she wondered out?
  11. There is a difference between slagging off parents and debating issues surrounding parental responsbility. Like you I would rather not get involved in a blame game as that doesn't solve anything but there is nothing wrong with sensible discussion.
  12. I'm sick of people saying it's not for us to comment on, we shouldn't play judge and jury, let's just think about the girl, etc etc. Of course we are thinking about Madelaine but this is an internet forum and a specific thread for discussion of the issues surrounding the disappearance. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion on the various points that have been raised from the actions of the police to the responsibilities of the parents. It'd be a worrying day when free speech and the right to voice an opinion were squeezed out of a discussion in favour of a "respectful" silence.
  13. Surely the point is the parents were not there when the child was taken. Regardless of how long they were away, how far away they were or anything like that. I have to say I agree with most of what Allen says. Then again I'm happy to admit I'm not a parent and as such can not fully relate to either side of the argument.
  14. Seconded, that sort of stuff deserves a thread of its own.
  15. just seen on the OS that Kisnorbo is 40-1 to score first tomorrow... surely that's worth a go?
