  1. Mavididi and Iheanacho a million miles off it.
  2. Hope I’m wrong, but expecting another tough afternoon here. Hayden Hackney in CM for them comes highly rated. Played for England U21’s this season and Carrick looks to be making a player of him. Hopefully Hamza can keep a lid on him.
  3. I agree, I thought Leeds would be technically better than they were. It wasn't a beating in that regard, they didn't play us off the park. However what they did do is stopped us from enforcing our will on the game. They know we want to get into a rhythm and pop the ball about, move them around the park and exploit the spaces they leave. They pressed us hard and stopped us from doing that and we struggled to adapt. We were scruffy with the ball and didn't win it back as effectively as we have previously. I understand the sentiment with the Blackburn and Sunderland reference, however the difference was Leeds, as you said, scored fortuitously and had the quality/gameplan to nullify our threats. Alot of teams won't, but the fact we couldn't/weren't willing to change was what was most apparent. For me we still lack a striker and miss Wilf in the middle of the park. I'm a big Casadei fan but he was miles off tonight. I also don't get the KDH level of hype at all. Absent tonight.
  4. I mean, Blackburn played well and tried to do what Leeds did, but they lack the quality and we spannered them 1-4!
  5. Extremely poor again tonight. Casadei, Vardy also. They came to relentlessly hound us and prevent us from popping it like we are used to and it worked. A solid gameplan and a slightly fortuitous goal secured the 3 points for them. We've got to be aware that teams are going to come at us like that all season and be more clinical when the chances come to knock the wind out of their sails and get through the harrying/pressing.
  6. Blackburn and Sunderland "ran a train over us".. Are you registered blind..?
  7. Don't bother again, eh pal.
  8. Superb last night.. Should have scored and will do so on another day, takes up/gets in positions no other CM in our ranks will do and thats a massive plus to playing him, especially in games where teams don't just want to make us toil for 90mins. The game suited him last night with Sunderland creating an open affair allowing him to run into spaces rather than stringing pass after pass together to move around a low block defence in search of an opening that we're used to seeing. The cushioned header for Kel was a thing of beauty, that goes in and one of the chances he has and we're waxing lyrical about him. Stick with this kid, he's very, very talented and hopefully he kicks on now!
  9. Gotta be f*****g careful here..
  10. Still patiently waiting for him to "rip this league a new arsehole" bla bla bla.. I think we will be a while..
  11. Crazy what people see watching the exact same game of footy isn't it!
  12. Casadei, again
  13. He's played well Casadei. Won the ball back in fantastic areas a handful of times, the cushioned header for Kel is absolute poetry and getting into the positions for the chances has to be applauded. That said, he should have a brace, no doubt about it. The fact he hasn't doesn't mean he isn't playing well IMO. Having a good game.
  14. He’s played for Celtic and Liverpool mate. Part of representing those clubs is you’re angry at Tories, the monarchy, Glasgow Rangers, Israel, Northern Ireland, every place in the UK that isn’t Liverpool and newspapers. It ain’t something you just switch on and off, it’s perma-anger with them lot.
  15. He hasn’t been good in a single game in the league thus far, nearly had his penalty saved at the weekend and the best performance we’ve turned in all season was the game he didn’t feature. I mean, I’m not saying he’s the issue….. but he’s the issue. Seen time and time again on here “his ability to link the play” or “he drops deep and gets us playing” .. his first touch is absolutely abysmal, more moves and passages of play break down due to him than any other player, or even from the opposition defending efficiently. He is an absolute mile off it. Mistake after mistake chasing his first touch that’s just hit some poor fan in the disabled row square in the coupon. Start the King, bring Daka on and wait for Cannon to get fit. Iheanacho can run the social media or something because the bloke couldn’t trap a bag of cement. Dismal.
  16. Agree with all 4. Why Hamer and McAtee bothered for one season in the Prem getting absolutely bent over every week is beyond me. Sheff Utd are absolute manure. McAtee especially IMO would have been better off starring here for us, going up and further increasing his stock and possibly going on to bigger and better things if we struggled.
  17. How old were you when you started smoking crack, mate?
