  1. He still has numerous axes to grind. Btw your name still sends shivers down my spine almost 50 years on. Leatherhead scare the life out of me that day.
  2. This referee wants the crowd to be looking at him. Full of himself.
  3. Could be two down already. Wake up!
  4. Who is their groundsman? A farmer??
  5. Three points clear. Better goal difference makes it 4
  6. At last. A turning of the tables
  7. The two late goals for Ipswich could be just as or more crucial. I fancy Leeds to go up and then it'll be either a fox or a tractor.
  8. Need a win but it'd be interesting to see how Leeds/Ipswich cope if they do go top. Whichever of the three ourselves included who holds their nerve in the next ten games will get promotion. Leeds don't seem to be stumbling much and Ipswich have a air of destiny about them with some of their late goals/results. Only been to Hull once in a Friday night and we lost 5-2. I'd say it was our toughest game tomorrow but the remaining five home games could be just as tough.
  9. Yeah. I don't really believe in the easy / hard run in scenarios. All the games will be tough.
  10. It looks like we will need to do so again. I'd swap that win and the one over Millwall for six league points.
  11. Enzo is a decent manager and 25 out of 32 wins says he did a great job but I do think he is a bit too stubborn at times. There is an element of hubris about his persistence in continuing to follow a philosophy which has served him well but now things are going pear shaped I hope he embraces change and realises opposition teams have worked out how we play and why it was so successful in the first part of the season.
  12. We don't have a decent striker who is clinical enough. We've been spoilt by having Vardy in the last 10 years but he's understandably not at his peak now.
  13. I thought Ipswich scoring thirty seconds after Rotherham had equalised was bad enough. It seems Soton have now perked up too. We have to go to Birmingham and I can't see us winning 4-3 with a winner in injury time. Can't we cash in our wins over Bham and Millwall in the cup for six points and let one of them play Chelsea instead?
  14. Strangely enough I feel more optimistic when we play away than when we are at home. I know we lost to Leeds but it was a good performance (until the end) and not one I've seen from us at home for a while.
  15. We just don't play fierce aggressive free flowing attacking football. It's more slow possession based. I'm not sure Maresca will or can change the way we play that dramatically.. We haven't blown any team away and won by five or six apart from Stoke with a couple of penalties thrown in.
  16. Being top of the league for so long can be a blessing and a curse. I do think plenty believed the "best team ever in the championship and record points" hype and complacency set in forgetting no one runs to the summit of a mountain. You still have to climb the last few hundred metres..
  17. QPR did their homework which was to watch the Boro game. We looked like a team who did their homework in the bus even though we knew it hadn't worked last time. Maresca was hoping for better and more clinical finishing and didn't get it for the second home game in a row. We play Norwich on April 1st.. I'm guessing they will utilise the same plan as will every team who come to the KP from now on.
  18. Would have thought Nelson would love Cannon in the team but we don't play Trafalgar in the championship.
  19. Or Even the Cov/Leeds games. Hang in there until the last ten minutes and watch us fold like wet cardboard under pressure.
  20. Maresca's tactics worked a treat until other teams cracked our code and realised it's a slow possession based approach which revolved around us getting the first goal soaking up pressure and hopefully getting a second on the counter.
  21. There is a Plan B . It's the same as Plan A with added desperation
  22. Teams have worked out how we play. We are like an open book. We aren't set up to chase games.
  23. Three away games at tough opponents all queuing up to knock us off the top. We were fantastic first half of the season but we are nowhere near as clinical or as watertight at the back.
