  1. have you been in the Gloster Vaults? my mate owns that
  2. i'm not claiming i'm brave, i'm just saying they'll be more easy targets than me, and for them it ain't a nice part of town to be in and can be intimidating
  3. Doesn't help that if you come into town on the train you have a horrible walk from the station, past that tower block with the spice heads and bag heads sat outside and then the top end of Granby which is equally as bad. Don't bother my as I'm 16st with a shaved head but it doesn't look the most inviting
  4. we've lost so many decent pubs but it still ain't as bad as people make out
  5. went MK for a saturday night out not long ago and agree, the pub choice was shocking, mainly due to having no town centre per say
  6. trouble is you always turn right out of the station, i often forget it's there tbh and no other decent pubs near it really now
  7. not been in the bricklayers since Huddersfield at home on NYD and had a shocking pint of carling, knew they just needed to pull a couple of pints off but the eastern european woman behind the bar went absolutely nuts at us. beer was shit in the hind when i went in before the train for the palermo game as well
  8. https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/the-black-boy-leicester-sept-2014.92056/ although sure i've seen more recent photos
  9. my mate used to run it before Stu at the Market Tavern had it and got the refurb done. was a mess then so probably would need more than 1m. in fact i'm pretty sure i've seen photos from urban explorers and the whole place is ****ed
  10. early 2000's it boomed down there, and all the way down narborough road. shithole these days. never helped the bouncers never let anyone in so wasn't worth going in the end as was a lottery to get in anywhere
  11. don't have an opinion on whether we play better or worse now because of it in regards to everyone suddenly hating us. doubt that as many football fans see psr as a piss take to help the big six. we've almost stuck 2 fingers up to the likes of man city and chelsea and their antics. can see everton and forest (note i can write forest and don't need to right florist or f*rest ans i'm an adult) fans having the arse with us and getting radged up about it, but who cares what they think or say
  12. we'd have more of a clue I reckon if certain ITKers weren't hounded off here
  13. could be argued that he was one of the main reasons we were in the championship in the first place, but yes you are correct he did that, then gave vesty a 3 year deal
  14. doesn't really balance out a lot of the other things I highlighted though, what's the saying, throw enough shit and some of it will eventually stick
  15. trouble is he's responsible for a lot that went wrong, but he certainly wasn't the one that moved the financial year or whatever it was so no way he should get any credit for avoiding the psr breech. end of the day, over the last few years we've wasted a lot of money on some strange signings, failed to sell players at the right time and allowed well over £100m worth of talent to walk out of the door for free, and then hired dean smith to keep us up
  16. gutted, fly that morning. only chance i had was if it was the tuesday before
  17. I've gave up buying beer or food in the ground as it's that bad, and far too expensive, and to hear nothing will be changing for another few seasons put me off further
  18. I said this loads last season as I sat in different areas of the ground each game but people didn't want to hear it, thought I was a trouble maker for highlighting it and in the end some melt banned me from the thread. I'm assuming my apology is in the post by whoever did it
  19. no doubt the club will read that with curiosity until they get to the psr bit and just lob it in the bin due to fans with no idea telling the club where they went wrong (taking it purely from the clubs position, sadly, shows where we are with them)
  20. suppose they have to do it in this day and age with terrorist threats etc, although they do do it badly
  21. been empty for years now they have, got a feeling the hospital owns the building. used to be able to get in town and break the walk up at the swan and rushes, then gateway/legends and then a final booze at that bar next to f bar before the precinct got knocked down. few years ago that route was possible
  22. it still gripes me the lack of decent pubs near the ground
  23. i didn't say that though did i, i said he should know his best players (after 9 games), one which is Ricky P, which i then elaborated on
  24. don't understand the point you're making
