  1. Skipp was highly thought of at Spurs and even down as a potential future captain. He's come here and not got going and lost his confidence. We don't have anyone really who can play there currently so we need him. Winks is a better player but doesn't want to be here. Hamza could play there when Ricky is fit potentially but right now he needs to play and find the form his fee and pedigree would suggest is there. Monga is undoubtedly the best talent we have next to Fatawu but he got bullied at Charlton, he handled it well but both him and Paige struggled because 1st team Championship football is a big step. They both need to be managed properly. Mavadidi should be keeping him out the team the fact he hasn't says a lot about him. Marti is doing all the right things.
  2. With what's available it's the best we've got. Skipp is only going to get better and more confident with games. Ricky isn't fit. Monga and Paige need managing they are so young, good to rotate them in and out. Marti is finally getting rid of the dead wood and toxic players. I am fully behind what he is building. If gets a few new faces in be fantastic.
  3. It is all relative to our current situation. Expecting the youth to come in and play 46 games is a huge ask, they'll certainly play their part and Cifuentes is definitely the right manager for this. Currently Winks, Soumare and Skipp (arguably Hamza but I feel he's the RB option now) are the only options we have. Winks definitely doesn't want to be here and Skipp is clearly a capable player but has absolutely no confidence at all - so realistically Soumare is out best option and has to start most games.
  4. Doesn't want to be here, needs to go. Go get some nasty bastard with an engine. Coventry today is exactly the type of player we need.
  5. We don't have an alternative to Ayew at the moment - I agree that I'd love us to buy a better player but it's not going to happen so you have to find a way to make him affective which for me can only be as a 10.
  6. Looking at the bigger picture, today was a step in the right direction considering the state of our club, recent outgoings and changes to the squad. Jacob and the defence showed real commitment—they looked up for it and were willing to put their bodies on the line. Of course, there are always things you can pick apart, but overall they were excellent. Soumaré had a solid game; he just needs someone alongside him who’s more forward-thinking and creative. Winks isn't the answer for me it is clear that he doesn’t want to be here. Page has a bright future but he needs proper managing and time he's not the answer yet. It is definitely an area we need to invest in. Monga got bullied at times but didn’t look fazed, which is a positive sign. Hamza showed today that he can do a job at right-back at this level, which could give us the option to try Ricardo Pereira in midfield—something worth exploring. Ayew has to play in the No. 10 role for the time being, and finding a proper striker is becoming more urgent by the game. The biggest takeaway for me today is that we’re missing a bit of nastiness and aggression to compete in this league. We lost too many 50/50s, and that edge is something we’ve got to find quickly if we want to compete.
  7. Tactics were bang on, high press completely stuffed them. Ricky P and KDH were superb and Hamza did a great job filling in. We created plenty of chances but were not clinical enough. Mavadidi and Daka both should have scored. Fatawu was poor. Final third cost us...end of
  8. Hamza looks so much better in this system
