Could be catering contracts etc that if an attendance falls below X they have clauses and will owe caterers compensation. Inflated attendances for these reason are very common and it’s the club protecting their finances. We had the same caterers as LCFC at Doncaster and as the clauses were very harsh we just played with the figures most weeks.

When we went down last time we had a premier league squad with decent players. Probably Top Half of the league players. This lot are nowhere near. I’m all for a bit of optimism but this lot don’t have the mentality, ability or desire to bounce back up. It’s a real sad state of affairs.
