Are you telling me these "hard" men not so hard after all then? Perhaps too easily manipulated by their Thai overlord methinks... -
Must be a country wide thing then. I've noticed Spanish and Italian fans are much more tactically astute in their understanding of how football is played.
-
No disrespect, but Chelsea fans are not the brightest.
-
Are you another bitter ex that pushed for Cooper being "better in the Prem" Maresca achieved every target he was set at this club, including integrating youth players like Nelson and McAteer. Why do you dislike him so much?
-
No chance he downgrades to a club like Newcastle.
-
and Ndidi box crashing
-
Money doesn't equal level of backing. They've spent a lot of money on very average mid-table to europa league level players. Maresca has done the best he can in the absolute shitshow that Chelsea is.
-
And I rate him for it. If you as the owner cannot back a manager that has made your club better than when he first came in, you're in the wrong, not the manager.
-
Lets be honest, its not his fault Chelsea owners have zero ambition.
-
No Chelsea player is taking this man seriously
-
It actually achieves a lot, a subservient docile fanbase is why we're in this mess in the first place. A fanbase with no passion, no ideas of progression, no motivation for the betterment of the club is doomed to be controlled by its masters.
-
They're bringing in that Rosenior guy
-
Yep, I said it from the start. Enzo Maresca will be the next Man City manager when Pep retires.

Fellas in this thread are actually defending the bottling of Top 4 twice in a row? Hilarious, same guys would be happy with with their wife cheating on them. Leicester City remained in the top 3 for the majority of BOTH 19/20 and 20/21 yet BOTTLED the UCL spots. Leicester City were then joint favourites to win the Europa League in 20/21 and guess what? Choked in the group stages. Getting kicked out a group with Legia Warszawa and Spartak Moskva -
Lest we forget Aiyawatt and his cronies also paraded with the Championship trophy in 2024. Not only was it embarassing because its a 2nd-rate trophy and a disgrace that we had to be in that position in the first place. But also, why are you inviting random Thai tiktok influencers on the pitch that have no connection to the club or its fans?
-
That means we're dropping points today then
-
Most want him to stay, they're fuming at their board. I'm on twitter seeing the outbursts.
-
To operate at the top, you need quality + experience. Sterling and Chilwell are both shadows of the players they were. That Sterling cameo in the Quarter Final against us was all Maresca needed to see
-
Sounds familiar lads? Leicester City and Chelsea both suffering from pricks running the club.
-
Anyways, its done by tonight. Maresca will move onto better things, Man City job will come calling in the summer.
-
You didn't read my last line about experience then.
-
Half of those you have listed are simply not good enough. You can even add Fofana's injury proneness. In addition, there is also an experience problem in the squad. All pretty much youth besides a few, lacking know-how to grind out results.
-
Chelsea fans were brought up on horrid defensive football, so any sort of manager that wants to instill a posession-based philosophy makes their feeble fans go "Gerrit forward". Especially the match-going fans at Stamford Bridge, one of the worst fans at home in the Prem when it comes to moaning.
-
Their squad simply is not good enough to compete in a title race. They have a few players like Palmer, Caicedo and Reece James but the rest are bang average. Do you realise how ridiculous it sounds for that Chelsea team to go toe to toe with Man City and Arsenal? Quality difference between Chelsea and them is massive. Abramovich gave them players like Terry, Lampard, Hazard and Kante. Modern day Chelsea are a joke.
-
Its not an assumption, look at their idiotic transfer strategy since Abramovich left. Please don't involve yourself in conversations you haven't researched on. You sound like a bitter ex angry that Maresca left. Maresca was right to leave us because our ownership is also garbage.
