  1. Surely if Marti drops points from here, he has to be sacked.
  2. Read between the lines, of course not. But channel it through legal means.
  3. Keeping the club accountable to its fans. If not, what differentiates a fan from a customer? Im not saying we should copy anything, I'm saying the concept of having standards should be of utmost importance.
  4. Imagine if our fanbase had 1% of the courage that fans across europe have in holding their club to account. The fanbase are responsible for where we are now and there is no hiding from it.
  5. The worst outcome is if we have a 1-0 win, 39% posesssion, overperforming xG, same coward setup as usual. Or any lucky set piece goal or penalty. Board are idiots, so won't look at the performance and so they refrain from sacking him.
  6. If he doesn't win, sack him in the tunnel. Tired of this QPR manager. He's so bad he makes Ruud Van Nilsterooy look good
  7. We'd be where Aston Villa are right now if Vichai was here. Makes me sick to my stomach how Top has completely ruined the family name.
  8. @whoareyaaa @JimJams @LCFCJohn @tylesta @dmayne7 @orangecity23 @Claudio Fannieri @Dahnsouff @bovril @Jimmy @Chelmofox What did I tell all of you and you dismissed it for nitpicking? You now see why the Derby game should have rung alarm bells? Marti cannot control a match, he cannot sustain pressure, he cannot dominate an opposition.
  9. Hamza over Ricardo? We're not winning
  10. Tonda Eckert some no-name coach at Southampton has turned around the worst relegated team we have seen in the Premier League since Derby. Yet you have people saying a better manager than Marti wont make much difference for us. Mind you, we took 6 points from Southampton and 4 points from Ipswich last season. Despite Fatawu's ACL injury. The Championship is so so poor, our players came 18th in the Prem and should be doing way better this season. If Marti doesn't get 9 points from the next 3 matches, he has to go.
  11. The best form of defence is attack and the opposition cannot score when you have the ball. The big deal is it is an indictment on Marti's poor tactics and inability to dictate tempo and control a game. 2nd half we played like a Dyche team, sit back and invite pressure. Hilariously enough, we couldn't even keep a clean sheet which proves my entire point. You go for the jugular, get the 4th or 5th and finally demoralise the Derby players. Keep the press high. Keep the high line. This is the football Marti promised, he is not delivering any of that. Marti instead did the opposite and gave Derby more confidence. They were allowed 18 shots against us! You cannot make excuses for this.
  12. Keep spending money towards the club pal, Top needs customers like yourself Don't forget to renew your season ticket
  13. Fans that actually want to uphold standards. Antithesis to those that clapped off Brendan Rodgers in 22/23. Which is a considerable portion of this pathetic fanbase.
  14. Win this match convincingly, then win and dominate against Ipswich. If Marti can do the above, we will reconsider his position.
  15. This logic is fine against Arsenal. You're not going to dominate Arsenal both halves. But its Derby, that second half is simply unacceptable. Marti set us up like we're QPR, he is out of his depth.
  16. Have you never watched a Hansi Flick or Luis Enrique coached team? Two managers who have won the lot, constant pressure is so important in the modern game.
  17. Mind you, our board thought we would survive in the prem last season without KDH and without his mentor Maresca. Another laughable moment for Rudkin & Co.
  18. Spot on analysis, Marti utilising Dyche tactics in the 2nd half completely abandoning our philosophy of attacking football. Why stop the press? Why make them sit back? Its just pure cowardIce and a reminder that he is out of his depth. If you don't have the courage to abide by your promises that landed you this role then you have failed your assignment. We're playing Derby not Man City.
  19. How about both? Win a game and actually dominate with a good performance. Winning a game by hook or crook shows that it was not down to tactics but rather the players deciding to turn up. Individual brilliance won today.
  20. Fabregas is 10x the manager Marti is.
  21. No because thats Wilder's exact philosophy, he's a "sit back" manager so he is keeping to his ethos, nothing wrong. Marti on the other hand constantly says he wants all-out-attacking football and he always wants to score the next. Directly going against his own principles here because its the cowardly thing to do. It bit him in the end anyway, because our clean sheet was wiped.
  22. Fabregas summarises it perfectly.
  23. 39% possession, cowardly 2nd half, still failed to keep a clean sheet. Cifuentes is so shit the players are bailing him out.
  24. He made the team sit back like cowards in the 2nd half only inviting more pressure causing the clean sheet to be wiped. We hounded Cooper out for this exact reason. Its simply poor tactics.
