  1. On a serious note though, how are you conceding in the 1st minute of the second half?
  2. 44% possession MARTI OUT
  3. My recommendation is take your nieces to Rutland Water for that instead Don't punish them by having them watch sub-par football in an outdated crap tiny stadium like the King Power making them sit on flimsy plastic blue chairs.
  4. Enjoy what exactly?
  5. Those were all Cooper's signings as he explicitly told everyone constantly he wants "prem proven". Cooper alongside Rudkin has set this squad back. We essentially bought deadwood from other teams to add to our own big list of deadwood we need to get rid of.
  6. No the clear distinction we're making here is Maresca was happy for him to start Championship matches. FA Cup Quarter Final at Stamford Bridge was the wake up call that he needs a better CB in the Prem. The club extended him because it was the cheap thing to do. They didn't want to go and pay £30m for a new CB. All roads lead back to this club's incomptence and Maresca should hold 0 blame for LCFC's PSR **** up.
  7. Incorrect, that was the club being cheap as usual. They'd rather extend contracts of crap players rather than recruiting an upgrade. You think Maresca was happy going into the Prem and playing Vestergaard in a high line? You really think that? He saw first hand in the FA Cup Quarter Final at Stamford Bridge how Vestergaard would be exposed in the Prem.
  8. You think Maresca "chose" a defender that only had experience playing in a low block and sitting deep at Everton and Wolves? Think logically please. No, signings like Coady and Cannon were club signings forced upon Maresca due to PSR issues. Vestergaard was a card that Maresca was dealt, he was not granted the opportunity to bring in a CB that suits his system. There was a transfer rumour about a Brazilian CB in January called Lucas Beraldo, that was Maresca's guy. PSG hijacked the deal and still managed to get him on the cheap for 20 mil euros.
  9. But not the right profiles for his system. Vestegaard - too slow to play a high line Faes - no composure and frequently has bozo moments James Justin - no technical ability, relies only on his pace
  10. I canot fault Maresca for the fact that he had to deal with 3 of his back 4 consisting of Faes, James Justin and Vestergaard. In hindsight, Maresca was turning water into wine when you look at us defensively during th 23/24 season. He only had 1 good defender and that was Ricardo, who had to invert into midfield anyway. The rest of our defence individually had glaring flaws.
  11. Chelsea fans are thick as mince and only understand kick it long hoofball. Chelsea have had 5 red cards this season. Their best player Palmer has been injured. Their best ball playing CB Colwill has been injured. They failed to buy a top striker in the summer. There is a lack of experience in the squad. They have a poor Centreback pairing in Chalobah and Tosin. Despite all of this, Maresca has Chelsea scoring the 2nd most goals in the league even above Arsenal. Maresca has Chelsea generating the highest Shots on Target in the league. Maresca has Chelsea overperforming with the highest xG created in the league. Maresca has Chelsea committing the 3rd best press in the league.
  12. No, but I'm saying all these points are contributors of his discontent and as to why there is no blame on Maresca but rather the source of his discontent (our hierarchy).
  13. Maresca made it clear in post-match interviews that he was unhappy with our DoF and the structure. He blatantly cried out for "more technical people" at the club. You really thought he was fine with dealing with a dunce like Rudkin after spending most of his coaching career around Pep, Txiki and Chairman Khaldoon? PSR **** ups, no vision forward, no ambition to overcome said PSR issues, I can go on to add reasons that excuse Maresca's discontent. The fact that our hierarchy are too stupid to even use loopholes to invest to keep the club competitive in the PL let Maresca know that there is no project worth continuing at Leicester City.
  14. You buy from QPR, you become QPR. Its not rocket science. Maresca came from the world class infrastructure of Man City, who have the best footballing structure on the planet. If Maresca was treated right here, given the tools he needed and had a sensible DoF, he would have got this club back to winning silverware. There is no doubt in my mind about that.
  15. The fact that we're NOT bringing in a new DoF is the most worrisome part. Notice how the club only mentioned a 'Technical Director'. Whats there to celebrate about? We will still have the same problems. The Technical Director MUST answer to the DoF Too much copium in this thread, fact is they're just bringing in a fall guy to take the blame and ease the pressure off Rudkin's neck.
  16. It might sound funny but the Glazers have actually done more action in rectifying their mistakes than Top has. They sold a portion of the club to INEOS who have improved Man Utd's recruitment and footballing structure. Because the Glazers have finally acknowledged they know nothing about football. Meanwhile Top has brought in an incompetent interim CEO who has never had a role of this magnitude in her life. Top has also made the decision to retain Rudkin. Top's arrogance to admit he doesn't know what he's doing is treacherous As of 2025, he is worse than the Glazers.
  17. So we're recruiting our technical director from Poundland? Good grief..
  18. So because he's a good friend of Top its fine for him to remain employed despite year-on-year failure on the pitch and off the pitch. You've just described a situation known as "jobs for the boys". Which supports our opinion that the entire setup of the club is not fit for purpose.
  19. At the end of the day he will still be at the club, that in and of itself is a problem for any sort of "Revamp". Either sack those that lead us to where we are now, or don't expect any approval from fans who have been demanding such for the last 4 years.
  20. Not a single person has wanted a Rudkin promotion. We wanted him gone. All this does is give him a position with more power and it diverts fan attention towards a new guy who will take the blame for his superior.
  21. The recent extension of Luke Thomas' contract has shown that there is no intention of fixing up.
  22. You can only laugh at how gullible they are in the comments. When will they learn..
  23. Absolute state of that work experience for someone who is going to run LCFC. I think my own father is more qualified for the CEO role at the club than this puppet.
  24. Rudkin will remain at the club. The stadium expansion is not happening. Leicester City will not achieve anything of note in the foreseeable future. But guess what? The club spouts empty words and PR to keep the gullible limp-wristed fans hoping and coping.
  25. Great, a CEO that has zero experience of being a CEO of a football club or a global multinational organisation that can be compared to LCFC..
