What circumstances bring out the best in the team? I'm thinking of situations that fire them up and make them fight harder.

Chelsea (H) 23rd November - Pre-match Thread
Elsie Effcee replied to Trav Le Bleu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Putting a positive spin on the stats :- * Both Leicester AND Chelsea have scored 6 goals in the last 5 games * Leicester are averaging 1.4 points per game (that's more than a draw) * Both teams have scored mostly in the second half while conceding equally A 2 -1 win for either team would not surprise me -

My thoughts in rhyme Chelsea like to steal the cream From every Leicester winning team They'll entice our boys away With the promise of fame and lots more pay But Chelsea has become a place where Foxes lie in wait So in almost every case they just accept their fate First there was Danny, then there was Ben but the saddest of them all Was the 30 million take away of Keirnan Dewsbury Hall KDH, come back home to the club where you belong It was a bad call, and after all, Wonderwall's your song -
Are you a nice or naughty fan ?

I guess the questions aren't going to root out the real nasty fans and honestly I think City fans are generally nice up to a point. However if I asked some more probing questions like "would you throw something on the pitch" or shine a laser in the goalies eyes" no-one would admit that. Thanks for humouring a bored gal who didn't want to watch England :) -
Answer 4 moral questions honestly 1) Are you secretly happy when the opposition has players out because they're ill, injured or banned ? 2) Do you shout abuse at the Ref, Manager, VAR, bad passes and shots ? 3) Do you "Boo" former players when they come back to KP ? 4) Do you clap when a dirty player gets fouled, nutted or sent off ? Actually, I guess the questions aren't going to root out the real nasty fans and honestly I think City fans are generally nice up to a point. However if I asked some more probing questions like "would you throw something on the pitch" or shine a laser in the goalies eyes" no-one would admit that.

It's just a small corner, mostly books by or about players and managers, but I keep a lucky ornament of a family of foxes - oddly enough it seems to have been misplaced

How far have you gone to display your love for the club? Wallpaper, bedding, posters, souvenirs, a prayer room etc? Is it just one room or the whole house (or just the kids room) ? What item would you most like to have for your collection?

I had lots of spare time today so I wrote another song about the "Cooper Out" debate - just for fun. Chants for the intro!

Couldn't sleep last night so I wrote a little song for this thread. I called it "BYE BYE Cooper" You can join in the chorus, "Now they shout, Cooper Out" all the lyrics are there for you

Create the ultimate Leicester City player
Elsie Effcee replied to Elsie Effcee's topic in Leicester City Forum
So it looks like we need another younger Mahrez and Vardy! I'm surprised KDH didn't fill a slot or two there. -
I remember watching his first broadcast, way back, he was terrible, stiff and nervous. He became a relaxed natural and claimed that spot. I do think he was grossly overpaid for the time he put in however. But apparently he ain't going until 2026 so why tell us now? There's a very good change they'll pick a woman. I love Jeff Stelling's personality but i don't think he needs a job

Imagine you could take different winning attributes and skills from all time City players. You need to consider 5 elements. 1) Technique (Ball control, dribbling, turning, balance) 2) Mindset ( Passion, motivation, leadership quality) 3) Intelligence (tactical awareness, vision, risk assessment) 4) Physicality (body type, strength, speed, athleticism) 5) Team player (Loyalty, personality, popularity) Name who you consider the best LCFC player in each category.... or maybe a player who has most or all of the above?

Manchester United 3 - 0 Leicester City - Post Match Thread
Elsie Effcee replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'd like to know what Cooper thought might happen after throwing a sub on in desperation at 86 mins when we're 3 -0 down! We handed Man U that game on a plate and they didn't deserve it. The play was untidy, careless and lackluster, the silent crowd said it all. -
Celebs who tried singing, good or bad?

OMG that was absolutely awful and so embarrassing for Peter, whose idea was that ? -
Celebs who tried singing, good or bad?

On 'World in motion' I'd say he was the most 'laid back' rapper, gets through the song with a happy smile and gentle shoulder swing - probably too soft to take rapping up professionally ? -
So many non music celebs try singing. Sports stars, Soap stars, Comedians, Politicians, Models, Actors etc. Do you think any of them could have had a career in music? Do you think any of them should not have bothered? I can think of Paul Gascoigne. Ian Wright, Naomi Campbell, Kate Winslet , Vic Reeves, Sid Owen, Denise Welch, Alexander Armstrong and Bradley Walsh and who could forget Hoddle and Waddle !

I think Gary Neville had the same problem, he always sat on the toilet for 15 mins in full strip reading the paper apparently.
