  1. Oh no, that's too scary, run kitty, run!
  2. Players often go through their 'lucky ritual' mostly it's kissing the ground or praying but sometimes it involves the order in which they do stuff, what they wear or eat. As a Leicester fan, what do you do (or not do) that you think might bring luck? I mean whether you go to the game or watch on telly? Ideas - always park in the same place, wear the same underwear, keep a lucky coin in your pocket etc.
  3. I couldn't believe that comment, I wonder which fan he was talking about, certainly no-one from around here. I was surprised when Cooper got angry and got booked but cynically I wondered if he did it on purpose to get supporters sympathy
  4. Just a silly idea after reading about Titz, Funny names seem to work like Slot and Klopp and Pep. There was Arsene for Arsenal so why not appoint a manager called Fox as a lucky charm - so I did some research and found Liam Fox who is AM at Hearts, he's never left Scotland so he might see Leicester as an opportunity. Leicester have had a fair share of Scottish managers, especially in the early days
  5. I'm enjoying the comments and memories in this thread, I don't think there's one I could disagree with. I guess football reflects the World generally - problems are solved with answers that create new problems. As far as Foxes Talk is concerned, surely it wouldn't be the same site if there was nothing controversial to talk about. FT probably gets more mileage from the bad changes, dodgy decisions etc than the good ones. There's always a feeling that the majority of us have more common sense than the decision makers :) As genuine, faithful fans get pushed further away, both physically and financially they have little control. A platform to express thoughts and concerns with like minded fans and friendly opposition is something we should never lose or change.
  6. Football is not the game it used to be for many reasons, updated rules, ridiculous transfer fees, technology. television coverage. Obviously there are advantages in the evolution but they're not always for the better. I often wish we could turn the clocks back on the game. Some of the things I miss :- Matches at 3 pm every Saturday - Standing - Buying a ticket on the day for cash.
  7. Was it any of these Leicester City songs on Spotify ? Scroll down to find the songs added 3 days ago! Link https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6moB3Q7YAePiTSbL84WoRa
  8. When players are not included in the line up, we call Cooper out and wonder what's going on ...... Then when our wish comes true and those players (like Ricardo and Fatawu) come back, they never seem to play to our expectations, why is that? Now the call is for the return of Vestergaard so I hope it's not a bad omen
  9. After last night, I wonder if any system can change the fact that too many careless mistakes are being made in all areas ! When goals are happening because of sloppy passing something needs looking at beyond player positions maybe.
  10. Aah, sounds very tempting, but can you add some pictures ?
  11. At the moment I'm struggling with Bilal Something and Bobby Something I used to be able to name the whole Premiership winning side but it's slowly fading
  12. Maybe it's age but sometimes I can't put a name to the face of some really important former city players. And lately I can't remember OR even pronounce the names of the new guys
  13. I just want to see some goals, any goals from anywhere, preferably from us A good lively, fruitful game would cheer me up no end today!
  14. Thought training can produce energy, strength and purpose that may be lacking at LCFC right now. Cooper said that criticism spurs him on, does he use this on the players or does he just want to be Mr Nice Guy to them ? It's a psychological battle field between management, fans and players - so on a football field how important is mind play to get an advantage ?
  15. The Emirates FA Cup Season 2024-25 Round Dates Extra Preliminary Round - Saturday 3 August 2024 Preliminary Round - Saturday 17 August 2024 First Round Qualifying - Saturday 31 August 2024 Second Round Qualifying - Saturday 14 September 2024 Third Round Qualifying - Saturday 28 September 2024 Fourth Round Qualifying - Saturday 12 October 2024 First Round Proper - Saturday 2 November 2024 Second Round Proper - Saturday 30 November 2024 Third Round Proper - Saturday 11 January 2025 Fourth Round Proper - Saturday 8 February 2025 Fifth Round Proper - Saturday 1 March 2025 Quarter Final - Saturday 29 March 2025 Semi Final - Saturday 26 April 2025 Final - Saturday 17 May 2025 * I'm following Biggleswade v York 1 -1 Biggleswade have 3 football clubs but this is the team made up of original under 18s after they were left with nowhere to play
  16. I like that we're getting lots of votes for teams and places outside this year's Premiership. I'm wondering if these smaller places make nicer trips out, certainly easier and less crowded and many are in more scenic areas with great pubs! I suppose we should include some foreign grounds for longer trips away
  17. Wow! didn't expect to get the full rundown of all those places, that was quite helpful and interesting, thanks CosbehFox
  18. So you fancy a 'long weekend' with your mates (or family) to combine with a Leicester away game, where would you go and why ? And where would you avoid at all costs ? Arsenal - Aston Villa - Bournemouth - Brentford - Brighton - Chelsea - Crystal Palace - Everton - Fulham - Ipswich - Liverpool - Manchester (United) (City) - Newcastle - Nottingham - Southampton - Tottenham - West Ham - Wolves. I always fancy Bournemouth or Brighton (but not in bad weather) - Never fancy Nottingham
  19. I know it's selfish but I don't want any of our players to go off and play for their countries. LCFC should come first when we need as many points as possible so don't take away our best prospect for goals at the moment
  20. Yet again. Such a drag. I just want to see us play again soon now we're on a 'winning streak'
  21. Did I hear it right, Steve Cooper said "criticism motivates me" ? Perhaps we need to criticise a bit harder !
  22. I like Ndidi, he seems to find good positions for himself, but why do I always wish someone else was where he is, someone who wouldn't waste opportunities, it's always a 'fingers crossed' moment when he gets the ball
  23. I've actually been nodding off while watching on TV. But it's not just football, everything is becoming samey! The cars, the clothes, the films, the decor, blah blah.... the only thing that has changed is food in that everyone wants to make it more and more exciting.
