Collectively it’s poor all over and just highlights how bad we are. We’re discussing a lot of things tactically but when you strip it back it’s down to communication and work rate. A lot of these players have been playing together for 2-3 seasons in this formation and for the fact we struggle to have any form of organisation and work rate is an absolute sh!tshow, they look like a bunch of players who have just been thrown together. Can’t wait to see these players and RvN gone. If the board struggle to recognise all of this then they can go too because this isn’t the Leicester City I recognise or love

At this point it has to be one of two things; 1. We can’t afford to sack him and we will wait till this seasons books are closed 2. The board are happy with either what he’s done or his plans Either way it’s a poor state of affairs and shows how incapable and poorly ran this club has become. We should never be in a position that we are forced to sit and watch the ship sink as badly as it has with no actions or how blinded the board are to believe that someone who has been so poor could be the right man to get us out of the championship. At this point it looks like RvN is saying and doing all the right PR stunts to save his career stating the club hasn’t spoken to him (could be true which is poor on our point and but gives him an angle to say there is no support to allow him to be successful) and by saying we should be focusing on academy (which I do believe we should) however I don’t think it’s been done correctly. -
I’m not quite sure on that one tbh, in the initial build up out wide both CB’s are occupied by 2 wolves players. Personally I wouldn’t want my CB going out there when we are so unorganised to try and win the ball and he is also marking a man as the ball is played in behind. At the point of the ball getting played across he is protecting the front post from a ball played across and to block the wolves CF who has ran between Faes and Coady. Ultimately it’s lazy play by Soumare, Ndidi and also FB (who is close to Cunha when he begins his run) that has killed us. An oppositions attacking midfield should not be running into the 18 yard box with nobody tracking or close enough to challenge. In all fairness, I do believe Faes is a front footed defender which is where he is glossing on the ‘interceptions’, he’s just not very good at it and definitely doesn’t help when collectively we are so poor out of possession
-
I’m not Faes’ biggest fan like the rest, but in all fairness I can’t see how he is to blame for this and don’t think his positioning is too bad. The issue starts when we are torn apart in a 3v2 out wide. Ndidis defending is shocking by cutting off the pass to go back rather than the pass on the inside to make it a 2v1. Soon as they have played the pass in behind from there we are in big trouble. Ricky P initially goes with the runner (correct decision) before then closing down the space/player on the ball The biggest culprit in all the goal then being scored is Soumare - he has not tracked his man and is marking nobody in the 18 yard box. Collectively between Ndidi and Soumare they have killed us with that goal both at separate occasions. Even by the still shot of the goal, both of them are all over the place. The defence has a lot to answer for but with such poor protection in front of it, it’s going to get exposed

This goal doesn’t get spoken about often enough, pure class! To do it against Germany too 😮💨

Legend gets thrown around too easy but the guy is a Leicester City Legend. We’ll likely never see another Jamie Vardy again who has come from non-league, take us to the very top, become a world class CF and remain loyal through good and bad. Gutted to see him go and will take a long time to adjust seeing another player wearing his shirt. Give the man the send off he deserves and I hope the club recognise his contributions with a statue/stand

New backline, midfield and attack. Not much work 🤣

A lot of our recruitment has been poor. We’ve been fortunate in the past by having a strong foundation that has allowed poor recruitment to go unnoticed Half the problem hasn’t been the poor calibre of signings, it’s the huge wages/contracts they’ve been given aswell as allowing players with value to leave either for free or at a reduced fee. Pearson and Puel the only ones who have really built any foundation here and added with quality
-
He makes such a difference both in and out of possession It proves how far this team has dropped off when a player who’s been out almost the whole season can look a quality above the rest. Ricky P had always been quality but we used to have a team around his quality, we’re so far off it now it’s sad
-
It’s sad but true
-
Our treatment of players who have left a legacy is appalling. There is next to no recognition for players from recent years and beyond who have given so much for the club and have had some great achievements. Apart from the post-match video, what is there to show?
-
Quality again today, makes a massive difference having him in the side. We looked a mess soon as he came off. I hope we still have him again next season but wouldn’t surprise me if he goes, 32 next season and too good for championship.
-
Gutted for him the way it’s all unfolding. Albrighton went at the right time and got the send off he deserved We will probably never see a player of his quality and loyalty again, there’s a genuine care for the club but on his wages there’s no way we can afford him for the contribution he can give and have a rebuild/ better control financially We’ve been trying to replace him for 6-7 years and nobody has come close, it could be a long time before we have a proper no.9 that gives us a real attacking threat. The man’s a legend and if we’re to have any decency as a club this season, atleast give him some recognition whether that’s a statue, stand named after him or worst case an academy pitch

Never known such an accepting atmosphere to being relegated. Heard more noise that the floodlights was on during one of the sunniest days of the year

We’ve had experienced (since BR) with Dean Smith and Cooper, we’ve had ‘up and coming’ with Enzo and Ruud. Smith and Cooper never felt the right fit and didn’t feel any progression or identity (appreciate Smith was a short time and bad situation) Enzo felt a breath of fresh air but we were a stepping stone, he shown incompetence and naivety - it would of been nice to see him develop and build here but whether it was FFP issues or his lack of care for the club is another question? Ruud has just been completely incapable and not the right fit at all - no connection to the fans and poor management overall. The club feels soulless and as a recruitment it feels flat. There isn’t any names that particularly excites to believe the club will be back on an upwards trajectory (I know a lot of that comes from the top in general) but I feel like as a club it needs a new direction, promote from within and develop coaches within to have a better connection/passion like what we can with academy lads or bring someone who knows the club and is ambitious -
Has done well since he’s come back into the side and had a solid game again today. Miles ahead of VK, especially defensively. Would rather see a local lad playing than a player who isn’t good enough and doesn’t care about the club

People forget how bad we was under Cooper. Cooper and Ruud was appalling appointments, Ruud has just helped make Cooper look a lot better than he actually was -

Unless things change higher up, we will continue to either scrap the barrel or a stepping stone. Club needs to reassess how we move forward -

Should of known this club wasn’t capable of negotiating 🙃 -

Hopefully he has a clause once we’re relegated to have his contract terminated selections, tactics, game management has been appalling and the records speak for themselves. Too much deadwood in this team to make it difficult for anyone to manage but he is way out of his depth
