Even Rowett's comments sounded like speculation rather than any true insight, almost like he was pitching. Tbh he does seem to understand the situation and clearly wants the job. I think we're at the point where most would be happy if it was him.

A fit Lacscelles is 100% the type of player we need. Given the ACL injury and the lack of football over the past 2 years there's a big question mark. Let's see if he passes the medical. Hopefully this transfer will turn out to be more Huth than Coady.

I might be a cynic but this all feels like a convenient distraction from the need for new player signings. We'll win Saturday and Kingy will be allowed to carry on indefinitely. No new signings, no new manager.... no money.

Interesting point this. You wouldn't like to think such a young inexperienced coach would cause a profound change in technique or application in such a short time but Jakub seems to have picked up this awful habit of shoveling or parrying tame shots into dangerous areas. Looked easier to gather that shot last night rather than scoop / shovel into the path of the scorer.
