  1. There's no false position. You're easily the best side we've faced so far. It's a poor quality Championship this season. We beat Millwall 0-4 at their place then they beat WBA 3-0 in their next game. You have a GD of 4. Normally poor for a side after promotion but there's only 3 sides with a better GD. There's only 7 sides with a positive GD.
  2. Goals dry up? We have Thomas-Asante and Wright joint 1st on 8 goals each. There's only 2 sides that have scored more than these two players. Then we have Torp joint 3rd on 6 goals with McBurnie. We have another 6 players that have scored this season. We gave Wright the night off. We've had injuries to our best players. Rudoni is still out. It's so unreal. Lampard won't be leaving in a hurry as he needs to prove himself still. He has turned decent midfielders into very good players. Our defence is now quite solid. We conceded our first goal in 6 games last night in the 96th minute. Our records are being broke. In the last 2 games alone we've broken another 2. We've won 5 on the bounce with Watford at home and Wrexham away next for another. I know there's a long way to go but when your GD is the same as the teams in 2nd to 7th and your defence has only let in 1 goal in over 600 minutes you struggle to find negatives.
  3. Really? Didn't you notice Wright coming in from the left? Thomas-Asante helped out with defending as much as he was up the other end of the pitch. He would normally be in the middle up front if Fatawa wasn't so dangerous to us when Wright comes in from the left. We had an extra player on both your wingers. The best 2 players you had.
  4. We were all out of shape. Mason-Clark was injured so Wright was on the wing. Fatawa was very good. Rushworth was our best player. Just about everyone else were very average.
  5. Good morning all. Enjoyed the game yesterday. Thought we were the best side for about the first 30 minutes although you had a very good chance during this time. Then you took control of the game. Second half started exactly the same. We didn't get back into it until towards the end. Easily the best side we've played so far. I have Rushworth as MOTM. Didn't have many good shots to save but did everything without fault. We had a few decent chances but your GK was up to it when needed. You were a good side until it came to shooting. It was though you were shooting at our GK most of the time and not the goal. Very happy with the point. Could have won it near the end but we wouldn't have deserved the win. See you all January for the return.
  6. Mason-Clark is a massive miss for us but the midfield partnership of Rudoni and Torp will cause you problems. Torp has scored 4 goals so far.
  7. Correct had lots of beer 😆😁 Getting ready to sober up so I can have more beer tomorrow. Good night lads
  8. If you turn up you win? Yes I did find that funny. You've been winning games without turning up if I am to believe what I've read on here. Football isn't as simple as that. We totally outplayed Watford last game. They scored with their only shot on target. We had over 50 touches in their penalty area. We had 15 blocked shots mostly in their penalty area. We didn't equalise until the 96th minute.
  9. It's how it seems when people like yourself have a go at nearly every post I make then bring up your victories over the years. Peace mate. Not going to fill this up with replies to yourself. It's supposed to be a match thread.
  10. But that's your version. What i meant is you winning the Prem which was a fantastic achievement has got no bearing on our game tomorrow. My best time in football was beating Tottenham in the cup final in 87 when half their team played for England. Well known as one of the best finals ever. It isn't going to help us tomorrow though.
  11. Should be a tasty game whatever. Two top 6 sides and only one defeat between us so far. The only thing we can compare is Oxford were very lucky to get a draw against both of us. If the players can't be up for this game they shouldn't be playing football.
  12. Totally wrong. If we win I'll say my view and will be gone. If you win and you deserve the win I will say so. Just the same as if one of us gets a lucky win. I'm not a troll. I've been respectful whatever insult has come my way. I love football and talking about football and hope to come across the same. But if Leicester City are the best side in the world on here and opponents views are not welcome at all I will happily leave you alone to your own views. After all I am only a visitor and not a supporter.
  13. So me calling your win fantastic is being dismissive? I'll put this comment with those who try to make out there's no rivalry and that the game means nothing.
  14. A smash and grab at home? 🤔 I hope you want a game of football. If you play attacking football it could easily be 5-4 either way.
  15. 😂 The only thing stopping sellouts is the gap they want between home and away supporters. Mind the gap? We will see tomorrow. You got a fantastic Prem win and an FA cup win but it's all in the past now. Live in the past if you like. The most important is the present. It's just like those who try to pretend it isn't a big game tomorrow. They're just preparing for a defeat just in case.
  16. This is where we have the advantage this season. We had plenty of offers but didn't sell anyone we wanted to keep. They know how each other play. We have struggled for years with selling our best players and starting anew each season. We might struggle a bit when the injuries start coming but we have money to spend in January. We will both find out a lot from this game. If either side is easily better than the other they will be looking good for 2nd place. We haven't played anyone decent yet.
  17. We will see. You're supposed to be so fuching good from what I've read on here. 2 fuching good sides. Going to be a fuching boring game now 🧐
  18. I would say our midfield is one of the strongest if not the strongest. Grimes runs the show from DCM, Torp and Rudoni in front and always looking at shooting and getting in the box with Mason-Clark and Sakamoto tying players in knots. Add to this we have Van Ewijk who loves running past players from RB. Between them they have 7 goals and 6 assists in the league. If you manage to stop them we still have Wright up front. He has 5 goals so far. If we need even more pace we can bring on Thomas-Asante who has 2 goals and 2 assists. Hopefully as you're at home you will try to attack. We've had 2 sides try to attack and 3 play with their backs to the wall. Scored 12 against the 2 attacking sides and drew the other 3.
  19. There's going to be a great atmosphere in our end even if we're losing. If the home support are up for it the atmosphere should be electric.
  20. From what we've seen so far it will depend on how you set the side up. We struggle to score against the sides that play defensively but score against the sides playing attacking football as it gives our players with pace the space they need.
  21. We know our biggest problem has been defending set pieces. Never seen anything like it before. For us the best form of defence is attack. Most sides sit back when they see the speed we attack with. We constantly put the ball into the area. But defending? We struggle even with every player back.
  22. Absolutely spot on. It's the biggest game for both sides so far this season. It isn't because there's a single road between us but we're both clubs that should be involved at or near the top of the table at the end of the season and not a side like Birmingham where the media has made them look better than they are. Leicester winning the Prem was brilliant for football in England but it's now history. The win will always show up on the records but many seem to think it puts you above everyone else in the Championship. But in reality we're all after the prize that means you most probably get a season of frustration.
  23. Sorry meant Oxford.
  24. So we need the 3 points and you don't? It's massive for both sides. I come from a family split right down the middle between Leicester and Coventry. There's no fooling me. My brothers are Leicester. We're having a few beers before and after the game. Making out this game means nothing is being a bit silly. We're all hoping for a close game where the best team wins.
  25. It should be a good game. In the games we've won the shots have just kept going in. In the games we have drawn we should have won comfortably. Last game Norwich fell over as soon as we looked at them. They got 2 cards for time wasting in the 1st half including the GK. It didn't stop him as he went down another 3 times in the 2nd half without anyone near him. They certainly parked the bus as we had 15 blocked shots. We had 52 touches inside their penalty area. We're playing great attacking football both home and away. Our biggest problem has been letting in set pieces. The goal Norwich scored was the first goal we conceded from open play. Our GK has hardly made a save. Norwich 1 shot on target 1 goal. Hull 3 shots on target 2 goals. QPR scored their only shot on target. Been looking forward to this one. Our first game against a side that should be in the mix for promotion with the addition of being away. We've outplayed our opponents in just about every game so it will be good to compare ourselves to a top side.
