He surely can’t be any worse then Luke Thomas has been . I know Woyo is a right back but it would have allowed Ricardo to goto left back . I’ve not followed his progress in Italy but he must have done ok to break into the Mali squad for Afcon .

Only Rowett being on Sky Sports saying Watford is an attractive job & of course that would be of interest .

Does anyone know how many tickets we have left ? I’ve got mine but it looks like we have been moved into the corner of the ground . I always liked Stoke away decent away end , hopefully we can create a good away atmosphere . But I know that has to start from the pitch with the players

I think Rowett didn’t want the job but has taken it as a last resort . He openly admitted on tv he had applied for the Watford & Blackburn jobs but was overlooked for them both . Watford gave their job to Will Still’s brother who had only won 3 games in Belgium . He said the Leicester job was a good club but a huge challenge for someone to take on but he didn’t say he wanted the job like he did the others.

I think he is more than capable of playing the role I seem to remember Enzo starting him there for 1 game during the 23/24 season.

He is struggling in the full back area & there has clearly been a decline in that area of his game . But of the 3 options ( Ricardo , Hamza & Aluko) he is still the best on the ball when he comes inside to play in the CDM role . That was the point of my post .

He can quite comfortably play there don’t get me wrong but I personally feel Nelson & Okoli have been ok so don’t need replacing at the moment . I feel the full back area is where he is best suited IMO

I like Aluko & he clearly cares . He needs game time to get settled but he struggles to come inside & play centre midfield when we are in possession which is how the team ate playing, that’s something that only Ricardo has been able to do effectively . Hamza looked suspect in there & Aluko has really struggled with that part of the game . If you are looking for a full back to get up & down the wing to support the winger then Aluko is the best we have.

Let's make no mistake Page is going to the very top, He is playing out of position as a centre mid he is more of a CAM . The way he started the season in the CAM role was brilliant . I thought he was the best player on the pitch vs Charlton (A) & Birmingham (H) after that for whatever reason Marti fell in love with BDR .

Ayew again was terrible but he simply isn't a centre forward, would be much better in a deeper role where he doesn't have to try & get behind their defence. Kristensen was miles better then Thomas but I know that's not hard to do . No coincidence whose man it was that scored the winner , Agent Thomas to the rescue for the opposition again

The most uninspiring appointment ever . Until the end of the season but is that just a cover if we go down they will give him the job full time because he is cheap. The question I have to ask is they spoke to him 2 weeks ago so why so long to appoint him? Did he turn us down thinking he would get the Blackburn or Watford job , Now wants the Leicester job because he got neither.

Do we know how many fans are attending this. After Tuesday's debacle I have decided to not go only cost me £10 anyway. Team wise I am looking at Stolaczyk Aluko Nelson Lascelles Kristensen Skipp Page Richards BDR Monga Ayew

What has happened with Missy Goodwin seems to have dropped off the radar 18 months ago she was being touted as one of England's great hopes but since she has been in a relationship with Kasey Mcateer she doesn't seem to be able to stay fit.

Luke Thomas is beyond shocking . You can see it now every team target that left hand side . He can't tackle all he does is push people over. But who else do we have because Kristensen is not much better , slower but has more height & is better on the ball.
