I think there are a lot of scouts who look at his profile and see huge upside in a 30m investment. There are not many players in world football who can do what he can do and that scarcity is driving top clubs to pay insane money for players two years ago who were at most 50m buys. It's not unreasonable for the club to bank on promotion and cash in when premier league or european super clubs come sniffing.
