Someone's nicked the plane.
Pearson's going to suicide crash it into the stadium....

I've got to go (I'm getting my nuts chopped off this afternoon). Let me know where it ends up!

It's vanished on mine. People still have it?
Yeah, I still see it. Don't worry

its not flew right for miami. could it be they got a call on the plane when they were heading to new york and then changed course?
I think the course was ok for Miami. When I went to Cuba our plane flew almost the same track as this. Up over the North Atlantic, then past New York and down the coast, past Florida and on to Cuba
-
you can scrub all of south america off it has flew the wrong way for that.
Yeah, I was just making the point that this jet has really long range.
Agree - does look like Miami/Orlando now
-
From London you can reach almost anywhere in the world with this jet, with the exception of most of Australia (you could probably get to Perth or Darwin) and southern Argentina/Chile/Brazil.
-
The JetBlue airbus directly in front is going to Kingston, Jamaica.
Maybe they're going to pick Wes up?

planefinder.netHow do you track it?
search for tail number HS-VSK
...or just use Rambo's link (above)

They found out about this thread and are having a laugh at foxestalk's expense
This could be a massive distraction by them. They're secretly painting the ground red and changing our name to the East Midland Foxes while we're all tracking their plane.

My money is on Washington. Top is swinging by for breakfast with Barrack and Michelle to persuade the president to act as a mediator between Anderson Perry and Charles Aranguiz.
...or to demand Obama carries out air strikes on Nottingham....

could be JFK airport its heading for.
You'd expect it to start decent pretty soon if it is headed for NY.
Man, this is so sad....
-
They should put this up on the big screen at the KP so we can all go along and watch together...

Just approaching Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Still at 43,000 feet

how sodding slow do planes fly!?
Don't you have any work to do???
-
i had this on an old app before. you wouldn't believe how many plane shout emergency daily. sent me mental!
I know, I've only set the alert up recently and within the first hour a Ryanair flight from East Mids declared an emergency just as it was passing Ipswich over the North Sea. Thought I was witnessing a major incident "live", but actually it just turned around an headed back for East Mids and circled a couple of times over my house at 10000m before landing safely.
-
If it suddenly disappears over the ocean, should we start being worried?
The app alerts you if an aircraft starts "squawking 7700" which is (I think) a transponder code for declaring an emergency. If that happens, I'll let you know.
-
Top's mrs going shopping on Fifth Avenue probably...
-
Planes do go this way maybe this is a quicker route for a small jet
I think there are "rules" regarding trans oceanic flights which means that aircraft have to be in range of an airport in case of emergency and the range depends on the aircraft, number of engines etc.
-
Yeah just got an alert Currently heading towards the east coast of America, just of St Johns (Newfoundland)
Shit just got serious...
-
I've set up an alert for it now. I am secretly ashamed of myself though....HS-VSK. It could be temporarily out of range of an ADSB interrogator
-
Maybe they've turned the transponder off and gone all MH370 on us....HS-VSK. It could be temporarily out of range of an ADSB interrogator
-
Flying to the USA currently?
What's the tail number? I can't find it on Plane Finder...

It is a massive breakthrough, and yet such a tiny piece of the puzzle.
It really is one of the great mysteries of our time.
At least they know they are searching more or less in the right area, even if it is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
