  1. If only we had 10 other players with his work ethic and desire
  2. That’s a strange lie
  3. Whilst it’s the right call for Forest overall, what was Stelios expecting them to do against Chelsea today?
  4. Have you ever read the ‘General News’ thread? It’s appalling
  5. It is But how much of relevance is fireworks being set off to actual death? 0
  6. And my mind won’t be changed regardless of how many rep points Miguel Cabrera earns from Tommy Fresh
  7. Understood My point was really that most of us on here have witnessed this sort of stuff Not sure why anyone would want to try and replicate or simulate that moment in time to a child. Its wrong on all levels
  8. So why do so many houses have fake gravestones with ‘RIP’ on them then at this time of year? They don’t all live in a graveyard
  9. I don’t need to go back. I’m 39, witnessed my dad’s death at 28, up close and personal. (I know you’ve done it as a job yourself) It beggars belief why anyone would celebrate such a thing as death. At 39 I wouldn’t (unless it was Ian Watkins) never mind at 3
  10. Are the kids donating their sweets and money to cancer charities then? Bravo if so
  11. https://www.anchoredinknowledge.com/how-halloween-can-negatively-contribute-to-trauma/ Be as facetious as you like for your rep points. It won’t change my mind
  12. It’s a bit more than that though isn’t it. I’m not talking about a bloke stood there with a bedsheet over his head. Why would you want a 3/4 year old be subjected to the idea of death ffs? It’s a frightening enough prospect for some adults as it is. My little nephew was on about ‘Halloween pumpkins’ the other day. He’s only 2.5. We’ve no idea where he’s got this idea from either as my brother and SIL don’t even own a TV, never mind allow the kids access to iPads etc etc. The idea of an adult allowing a kid to become corrupted and to celebrate death ffs sickens me. Fortunately, because my bro and SIL are bible bashers, they feel the same too
  13. The calibre of players signed prior to Summer 2022 was an indicator Rodgers didn’t deserve any more money to blast away with anyway
  14. There is 100% an element of begging and sense of entitlement that by knocking on someone’s door with your hands open and getting treats breeds. As for poisoning kids minds- it’s little wonder there’s a mental health crisis in the country when you subject 3/4 year olds to this type of shite
  15. The main thing I remember about Copenhagen was the cold and the Spunk Bar- the birthplace of Jamie Vardy’s Magic
  16. Rank these cities in order of your favourite NA those you’ve not been to Prague Amsterdam Budapest Barcelona Seville Madrid Rome Krakow Brugge Copenhagen Lisbon Edinburgh Dubai Mine is 1. Krakow 2. Brugge 3. Prague 4. Sevilla 5. Edinburgh 6. Budapest 7. Amsterdam 8. Rome 9. Barcelona 10. Copenhagen 11. Madrid Lisbon Never been Dubai Never want to
  17. The only thing our board got right at the time was NOT providing that clown with any funds that summer. Proof of that decision being correct was providing funds in Jan 2023
  18. Still cost a damn sight more to the club in the long run, which was the whole argument after Warsaw away
  19. Halloween I can’t stand it. Why would adults actively choose to poison their kids minds with death, ghouls, ghosts, the devil etc etc when life is scary enough as it is? To say nothing of the whole aspect of begging/expectation of treats/sweets
