One of the best things that come from major events like this, and Augusta this year with Rory doing the CGS is the inspiration it can give for youngsters to get involved in the sport Since the pandemic it’s already on a level I’ve not known it before, helped by YouTube golf too. But golf is no longer seen as an old man’s sport and it’s become cool for kids to get involved in. Seen it at my course this summer- sign your kid up for £80 a year and it’s free childcare pretty much (that presented a few other issues etc) Likewise on the driving ranges, there’s always some young lads or kids down there
