He's taken his shot within a second of receiving the ball from a position you might expect a cross. Clinical finish from Mavididi in my book.

Something to do with taking the ball I think
-
Think talk of poor keeping is harsh. He's arguably a little too close to the near post, but I think he's just surprised by the early strike, which was struck fantastically well.

Doyle back on the bench!

How have Preston managed to bring Griezmann in? Great signing.
-
That's a pen. Theatrical from James but the Preston player doesn't touch the ball and he makes contact with James. It's a foul anywhere else so it's a penalty in the box. Stupid tackle to make, he was going nowhere.

If Leeds lose this and their next game away at WBA, they'll have dropped as many points in 5 games as we have all season

For such a detailed, well-informed and researched article, there are a number of galling errors. Choudhury was signed from Burton?? We beat Watford 4-0?? They've scored more than us?? Also, not a mistake as such but he talks about Coady being restricted to appearance in mid week games against lesser opposition. I could be wrong of course, but what about that would lead to the expectation we'd bring him in for this?

Ah ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. Glad you made the game 👍

If you're referring to my post, this is a distasteful response to what was sound advice. It's good that you got help from someone else to get in with their tickets. You'd have been wasting your time otherwise and I'd have been saving you a drive if you listened. I was only trying to be helpful.

Is it most likely Zambia don't get through the group? Might only miss a couple of games

Somewhere to be Tags? Jesus

Exactly what we've done in these first couple of minutes and we already look more dangerous.
-
We're playing the wrong type of risky pass. The risk we're currently taking is the risk that the ball might go out of play, with cute chipped balls and cross field balls over their defence. Against a Rotherham team offering nothing in possession, we can afford to risk losing the ball more often. We need to play more short, intricate passes in and around the box. If we lose it we'll probably win it back quickly anyway. The ball going out of play kills the move, and getting those long/cute balls right is so hard to do with the numbers they have back there. We're literally having to land the ball in a 1ft x 1ft zone. Them getting the ball back doesn't end the move. Eventually we'd find half a yard and get a shot off.

Getting desperate to find a pass too early here. Need to be more patient
-
Need to stop trying to dink little balls behind their back line. N'didi still hasn't realised he isn't good at long shots I see. Every time he winds up from 25+ yards I roll my eyes. Waste of time.

Really struggle to get my head around KDH. Can't argue with his numbers. He has a wicked cross on him, has an engine and pops up with goals. But his general play in the middle of the park is so poor. Constantly shows poor control and messes up simple passes. It's frustrating because that should be the easier thing to get right. Can't understand why he struggles so much with that part of the game.

You make a good point

The worst thing about this result is that this place will be an absolute pit if we don't beat them.

It's good advice 🤷♂️

I don't mean to be a killjoy but you genuinely have no chance. Don't waste the time / money getting there. EDIT: Just seen your interactions on the ticketing forum. That's your only route without buying a membership, so good luck. Hope that works out for you. If that doesn't work out though, I wouldn't advise going to the ground. I've been in a difficult predicament before and the ticketing staff will always stick to the rules that are in place. Don't expect any amount of begging to get you anywhere.

Speaking as a member who gets to somewhere between 5 and 10 games a season... I think the cost of a membership is a little overstated when you consider ticket prices haven't increased very much compared with the prices of everything else in life. It's a small price to pay over the course of a season, but that argument only really holds any weight in my case whereby I'll go to a decent number of games. As others have rightly pointed out, it's the one offs that miss out. As far as atmosphere is concerned, it's crap that you can't spontaneously get a group of mates on a row together. Again something others have highlighted, it's all just a bit shortsighted. For a lot of people, the habit of watching the football on a regular basis, or even becoming a season ticket holder, is one that is formed. A routine that develops, if you like. Getting fans through the door should be a priority to future-proof our attendances when we have more seats to fill. And generally it's a more enjoyable experience when you can watch the game with a few of your mates rather than sitting by yourself. Over time those better experiences would lead to more regular attendance from a younger generation of fan, theoretically at least. Ultimately (touch wood) our immediate future as a club is that we'll be a Premier League outfit with a 32k capacity stadium. In the Prem with our current fanbase, that sells out without any need for thought from the club. So in a way, not letting it get to general sale rewards loyalty in that members get first dibs, and typically you'll only buy a membership if you're going to make it worth your while and go to a decent number of games. However we're in the Championship at the moment, so the weakness of the model is exposed. Also, all being well we'll have 10,000 extra seats to fill in the not too distant future. I think the bottom line is that it's just a bit of complacency by the club. I'd like to think that the expansion would coincide with a rethink.

I see that now that we're scoring and entertaining, the scope for moaning has been whittled down to the selection of our unused substitutes. Brilliant

I have worked at decent companies in the past and slow quit on their asses due to infuriating lack of progression and poor management, often blaming cold symptoms in the process...

The xG stats suggest we don't look vulnerable. It really is just your nervous disposition. Sorry!
