  1. And this is with the ref being wildly biased towards us 🤮
  2. Disgusting. All benefit of the doubt is now gone. Playing with 10 men with El Khanouss as should have been expected from everything he has shown up to now. Get this back to a minimum draw or get out of the door.
  3. I said the only team clearly worse than us. Wolves and Everton are better on paper, Ipswich arguable, but probably better on the field. Either way, anything less than a win here is a very bad sign.
  4. They're the only team in the league clearly worse than us, and that we beat twice last season. I make that a must win game.
  5. Massive risk playing Buonanotte out of position to facilitate a so far anonymous El Khanouss, rather than the trusty Fatawu in his correct position. Hopefully Cooper has seen something in training that suggests it's not an odd decision in a must win game. 🙏
  6. That's a bit unfair. He's a steady 6 every game occasionally a 7 and a very unselfish, hard working team player. Obviously Fatawu has a dramatically higher ceiling, but there's plenty of time to realise that.
  7. Hopefully we get to see this pragmatism I've heard about and he rolls the dice a bit more now we have our first win and are out of the bottom 3... Otherwise hopefully we scrape survival and get rid of him. All is not lost yet either way.
  8. Fair comment, but that is a logical decision to go for Premier League experience and more of a team player over something of a wildcard at this level based on the managers preference. A very conservative decision that I don't agree with either, especially not against the likes of Everton & Bournemouth, but still understandable. Hopefully now the pressure is not as intense he can start being less risk averse. I definitely want to see Mavididi, Buonanotte & Fatawu together against Forest. 🤞
  9. I get what you're saying, but for me; Ayew is a steady squad player/Albrighton replacement at this level, Reid was free, but I'd have only given him a 12 month contract, if anything, Edouard is a pony desperation signing after we failed in our first 3 choices and fortunately only a loan. If he genuinely had these players as his ideal signings then that's terrifying, but if we're just trying to patch together an experienced EPL squad on the cheap (with a points deduction looming over us at the time putting players off) then it just is what it is. If we survive this season then it's done the job and hopefully we stop shopping in the geriatric bargain basement bin. 🤞
  10. A win is a win is a win. Buonanotte is a player. That is all.
  11. Absolutely begging it 🤦‍♂️
  12. Eduoard is truly useless 😂
  13. Soumare FFS! He shouldn't even have a squad number this year. We better hold on now or this is the death knell for Cooper.
  14. Let's go for it now. As long as Cooper doesn't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by trying to protect what we have from the off again this could be the start of better times 🤞🙏
  15. Impressive start for the first time this season if I remember rightly. 🤞 Shame Buonanotte is only on loan. He's our one Premier League level creative force.
  16. By modern rules that was a stone wall penalty. I don't agree with modern rules mind... that situation is just unlucky on our part and lucky on their part.
  17. We've failed to adequately replace Maddison & Dewsbury-Hall, but that doesn't mean we have nothing. Our wingbacks have the ability to attack with Fatawu, Mavididi & Vardy. Skipp & Winks can drive us forward. We've signed Buananotte & El Khannous with that potential, plus have a possible next breakout player in Alves. There's more than enough capability to at least attempt to take the game to most teams, especially the likes of Everton who we all but parked the bus against...
  18. Top 3 keeper in the league already and only heading upwards. Both handedly saving us from embarrassment so far this season. 💙
  19. Counter attack. It's in our DNA. Rodger's was the anomaly and in the end a failed experiment. Look at the stats. Yesterday we only got lucky from a few desperate attacks after it was already too late and they should have been out of sight. Good luck & performances of the season from Hermansen & Justin are the only reason it wasn't 7/8 to nil/1.
  20. MoM performance, and record shot stopping heroics, from Hermansen keeps it down to 4 conceded, which is as good as it could have been given our 'gameplan' and in game management. Justin finally looking like his England international self at least...
  21. Incorrect. If we lose after trying to take the initiative, it is what is. If we don't even attempt and inevitably lose, then it's pathetic.
  22. The guy is Smeagle. We fluked an equaliser in spite of him then had the option to take the momentum and attempt the win with a Fatawu sub or attempt to protect the draw with Ayew the workhorse... inevitable result.
  23. We begged it. We got it.
  24. Ayew's only just hobbled on and he looks like he's blowing out of his arse...
