  1. If he starts first game, the fan base has to be vile from the start and boo his every touch. Not watching another year of him star jumping over the ball and us getting relegated. Anybody who is like “you can’t do that, support your players and team, Leicester til I die” can do one. The future of our club is in his hands and it’s that serious that we cannot allow history to repeat itself.
  2. I think a win is definitely needed now. Although, the possibility of losing and still going through COULD be on the cards if Northants and Derbyshire both lose Thursday night. Yorkshire chasing down 205 at Worcestershire really chucked a spanner in the works.
  3. He’s a more than capable bat to warrant his place in the team alone. We would be daft not to sign him on the basis that we already have Trevaskis on the books. Ahmed likely to miss most of the one day cup due to the unmentionable clown show, so it’ll be handy having both Trevaskis and Goldsworthy for that anyway.
  4. Slagged Cox off and he found form the next game. Budinger and Neesham tonight. Who do we want as the next “victim”? 🦊
  5. All is not lost as a win tonight and one of the last two, MIGHT just be enough with our run rate and looking at other fixtures. However, tonight is a must win against Northants. Budinger must be dropped for Swindells. Scriven in for Neesham. Genuinely seen enough to suggest that he’s only here for the pay check. Send him packing early. He’s finished.
  6. The Stirling run out makes it even more of a shocking decision. Would it have not made more sense to bring Hill in at 3 or 4 to play the Handscomb role and not waste money on a darts player? We’ve really missed Handscomb’s captaincy. Currie is injured. Handscomb and Ahmed should be back for the next set of games.
  7. In the squad again today so can’t be? Scriven back too. Walker is 💩
  8. They were the two highest earners. I’m sure that it was quoted that getting to the quarter finals is a £250k boost to the coffers. Correct me if I’m wrong. So potentially worth the gamble if Stirling and Neesham get us over the line. Id have imagined we would get some form of compensation for losing Currie and Patel to that tournament at this stage.
  9. Vote Reform UK 👍
  10. Not dollar inspired. With work commitments and a young family, it suits him playing better at that step. He’s 35/36 now.
  11. How much longer will they persist with Mike before they drop him?
  12. Still too early to tell for me. We were well in the games against Derbyshire and Durham at stages. If Cox hadn’t dropped Patel we would likely be 3 from 4 and everything looking far rosier. I think we need some fine tuning. The lack of experience in the bowling unit is telling with the pace bowlers. At least we are in the mix at this early stage and already won as many as we did last year 🤣
  13. Can we really be carrying a wicketkeeper that can’t bat either? I’d genuinely have him below Holland and Currie at 10 in the pecking order… Further frustrating when Hill and Swindells are both more than capable and improve us considerably with the bat.
  14. I do like the look of that. I’d personally have Swindells in for Cox as I think he’s more value with the bat than Cox. Any idea on Trevaskis being fit or not? Guessing Scriven is done for a few weeks too if it is his hamstring?
  15. I’d like to see Mike open alongside a steady head in Handscomb. It’ll certainly be interesting to see how we line up on Friday.
  16. Our 2nd XI set to chase 213 at Derbyshire in a T20.
  17. Any idea where Trevaskis has been? Hasn’t featured in a squad lately and didn’t play in the friendly fixtures against National Counties T20. Is he injured?
  18. Salisbury looked our sharpest bowler first couple of games and looking like the only one that could lead the attack. Sure they’d said he had picked up a knock and he is made of glass - perhaps they’re protecting him.
  19. For me, Scriven is one of the first names on the team sheet in all 3 formats. Mike gives a good quick option alongside Mulder and then take your pick between Hull/Salisbury/Currie. I’m probably edging towards Hull. Ahmed and Trevaskis both play. Id also be tempted to go with a wildcard at the top of the order with 1 of Mike, Kimber or Ahmed who can score quickly and big if they get in alongside a steady head. My strongest XI would be: Handscomb Kimber Hill Patel Mulder Ahmed Trevaskis Cox Mike Scriven Hull Good options with Budinger and Swindells pushing for places too. Jury is out on Cox too with the bat, Handscomb, Hill and Swindells all more than capable behind the stumps and all better bats which would free up a space for another specialist batsman.
  20. Firmly believe he would still be here had he survived the Ranieri second season syndrome.
  21. It absolutely would change everything. It would instantly lift the spirits. Back to basics. None of this inverted nonsense crap, or full backs that don’t support the wingers, or picking the same incompetent players, or woeful substitutes (or lack of). Get rid. 4 games to save our season (and potentially the future of our club with the way our finances are). Shit or bust
  22. If we don’t sack him now, we’re throwing away the financial security of the club in terms of promotion to the Premier League. We can’t mess around. MUST GO TONIGHT

Not his fault he’s crap. Blame the muppet that picks him every week that can’t see that he’s crap.
  24. Honking attitude and brainless chicken. Hate him as much as the other muppet with a daft haircut
  25. LCCC have released a list of players with their sponsors and Wright again doesn’t feature
