  1. You could argue it’s symptomatic, but leaving early isn’t the real problem is it? It’s the drab, fickle, matinee performance punters who won’t even clap to a song, never mind make any noise with their voices other than to chunter under their breath about how we shit we are moments before we stroke in our fourth goal of the afternoon.
  2. Somehow - both.
  3. Great win for my first home game in person this year. First half - we were in control and looking comfortable before some dogshit passing out from the back encouraged them on to us for a period that resulted in a one on one chance for them which was well saved. We also missed two absolute sitters through Patson and Abdul, both who otherwise played well, and should have gone in 3-1 up. Enzo cut a frustrated figure on the sideline. Second half, we didn’t do that much different, but did start to play forwards a bit quicker. We ended up cutting through them with ease for 3 goals in a 15 minute flurry. I thought our quality showed here and we were good for it. Plymouth committed players forward, but didn’t really look that threatening, and didn’t merit the crazy high line they played at the back. Loved Mads’ pre assist, but that ball was on so many times throughout the game. Plymouth look like the newly promoted team that they are, and further highlight the unprecedented success Ipswich are having. CC looked a dud when he came on, but it was nice to have Praet back who looked a cut above in his cameo. Nelson looked tidy, and it was hard to judge Cannon on that outing but he looks the type of player who is keen to get a shot away which is a nice option to have. I thought Faes was a little too casual at times, but plenty played well enough, and it was good to see Mavididi get his brace. Great to finally put a team away, and it could even have been more. Need to keep our foot on the gas over the Xmas period to stay ahead of this relentless pace at the top of the table.
  4. Some of his passing in the early part of the season was phenomenal. Not quite sure what’s happened, but looks a little short of confidence in his distribution at the moment and he’s making some dodgy passes. He’s still commanding presence and a good shot stopper - fewest goals conceded in the league - so at least he’s doing a very good job in that regard. Young lad, new league, and obviously playing the high risk stuff at the managers request. Just needs that air of unflappability that the best keepers have even after an error and he’ll go right to the top.
  5. If you can’t enjoy that win today, find a different sport.
  6. He was abysmal today. The pre assist was nothing special - you’d back any professional footballer to make it. Don’t want to sour a fantastic win, but he’s had enough chances and not pulled up any trees. Would be dropped right down the pecking order for me. For a striker who is supposedly our best at linking up play, he doesn’t half lose the ball a lot.
  7. classy bloke, good manager.
  8. I want to tuck harry winks in at night
  9. harry winks is great to listen to on sky
  10. Genuinely perplexed at some of you - actively rooting against your own team when top of the league. Give your heads a wobble. That was the form team in the league, we're playing away from home, and it was a fully deserved win. It's like people expect us to blast everyone away and win 4-0 every week. Winning football games is hard, and we've done it more than every other team in the league. Pour yourselves a beer and enjoy it. STRAIGHT BACK UP, STRAIGHT BACK UP, LEICESTER CITY
  11. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  12. wilf off, CC immediately played around like he's not there, west brom get up the pitch and scramble a goal. this lad is genuinely costing us in games

  16. this ref is shite
  17. when was the last time kel had a touch
  18. abdul and vardy on for kel and kasey please
  19. we were the better team with the better chances against the in form team in the league - but it is playing out like the cold december lunchtime kick-off that it is. can't help but feel vardy would fire things up a little, especially since he loves playing at the hawthornes and kel is playing like a wardrobe.
  20. we're getting chances
  21. that's more like it
  22. kel's a donkey. always breaks down when it goes to him
