Who do we expect to buy the club, with massive liabilities, owners who have leveraged massive debt on themselves, possibility of League One… who the hell would buy us!? Look at the Sheff Wed situation.

And if you say anyone is better, what about any one from a gambling background/consortium, doesn't everyone hate BC Game due to gambling yet this is what you get when you go for money at any cost?

I’d be all for an ethical Leicestershire billionaire to decide now is the time to buy us! But it ain’t gonna happen, so we’re left with asset strippers or questionable foreign investment which could be better or could be even worse?

But according to several youtubers, aren't we going to be bankrupt in league one anyway?

If that's the case, wouldn't any other owner in that scenario be better?

I'm definitely reactionary at the moment admittedly. I'm very thankful for the success, something they'll never take away from us but it's just been diabolical for about 4 years. And it seems like nothing is changing for the better. They're just making worse and worse choices.

I don't think we will have much choice BUT to refresh. The likes of Ayew, Winks, Daka, Pereira all out of contract. Mavididi, Skipp, Vestergard, Okoli, Kristiensen, Fatawu will all be sold to at least championship level. We will have to rely on the like of Braybrooke, Alves, Silko Thomas, Evans, Aluko, Wilson-Brown, Jayden Joseph, Cartwright. Yet to be seen what happens to the likes of Choudhury, Thomas, Souttar and Nelson.

I'm actually a wee bit excited about it.

Who is buying any of our players?

I think our only hope is tight, disciplined anti-football tbh

I hope we win every game 1-0 for the rest of the season

    Haram ball, brother.

I am looking forward to it.

  4. We just need a figurehead to get behind.

I think Big Nige was a massive catalyst in getting everyone back on board when we were in league one. It could have been disastrous but he brought everyone together as well as cruising the league.

A reset is 100% needed. We are all crying out for it. It will come, I'm confident of that, everything is cyclic, l but it may take a few years yet given the speed at which things are happening.

  5. He wasn't great but also didn't get a good run. Not sure why there's so much hate for him, he didn't seem to have a bad attitude? It's not like we shelled out an insane amount on him. Loaned him to take a look, not good enough, send him back. Surely that's a win given our recent track history with signings?

We need high energy for the 2nd part of the season so bring him back and have him & Skipp just bust their nuts for 45mins each per game allowing JJ to concentrate on the forward stuff.

We need to out motor the opposition so Is SPL a better standard than L2/L1 even Championship if so bring back Cartwright as well, we need guys that can get around the pitch & bring energy to our play & will give a shit.

    Gooners!

Those lobs against Spurs and Bournemouth are very underrated.

I hear loads of commentators always reference Van Persie's left foot volley against Villa (?) but never any mention of Vardy's one against West Brom even though it was with his weaker foot.

Those ones for me are incredible. Especially given that most people don't attribute that level of finesse with Vardy. Maybe that's why they get over looked as they are seen as flukey? For me, they are completely intentional as you can see him think about it before he goes for it.

Im now onto Arc Raiders. Really enjoying it. I love the fact you cant just run around like a nutter. The Arcs are a nightmare.

So far ive only been killed by 1 person. Everybody else i have come into contact with are happy to team up in order to escape.

I keep seeing that. I'll scope it out and see if it works on me steamdeck.

Bit similar to Sam Allardyce who was quite innovative at the time. Though he fully embraces that rep now.

It won't be long until the cycle completes and reverts back to long ball but I guarantee it'll be labelled as direct/fast or some other more astute word. Already seeing teams switching to the set pieces.

Not saying I am a fan of long ball but the slow passing it around is insanely annoying, especially when you don't have the players for it.

  10. I've been living in the usa for ten years and the standard of driving over here compared to the UK is shockingly bad (only the states I've visited, about ten).

Only 50% of drivers use their indicators, people always pull out in front of you, nobody knows how to merge and everybody shits themselves at the rare sight of a roundabout. Their driving test is pretty easy too. The theory was laughably easy.

I live in state with lots of old people and there's a lot of accidents too. Honestly, it's genuinely scary driving around. Has anyone here driven in Florida? That is an experience. I was on the highway there and witnessed an oap doing 90+ on the hard shoulder only to drive past them flipped over several miles later.

He's certainly not one I hate and think he gets some harsh criticism. He's not someone who can start every week but he's a handy player to have at this level and can score/create a goal which is something we are desperately lacking. Doesn't seem to have a problem attitude wise like some of the other squad members and seems like he'll give it his all.

Do find it strange though that Marti mentioned him when he first joined as being a player he was impressed with but has barely used him, despite our other attacking options being shite.

The same guy who said he was going to use youth and then plays Vesty paired with Faes for most of his games so far.

    He's all talk.
