    Our latest episode:

You can probably guess exactly what the talking points were if you saw the game!

    • Being caught out of position on transition
    • Being outmuscled and losing the physical battle
    • Magnificent Monga
    • A lack of pace at the back
    • Not enough Support for the wingers

Add to this the lack of willingness to run from some players and it looks like a challenging season ahead as it stands...

F bombs at the end with Ayew 😂. Surprised you were able to keep your composure that long.

Yeah, and I will admit it was partially my fault for being bored at work.

I was doing a shit day job where I sat at a desk all day. I used to keep an eye on Oddschecker between calls and emails. Out of nowhere, Preki appeared on the list in the top 5, so I made a thread on it here and it detonated from there. People then went digging, found stuff on it and it caused a bigger rumble, then it was mentioned by Rob Tanner and it went more crazy, then hes odds on, then he's doing a press conference in the next 3 hours for a 2nd division US team, then we crashed to stream and then it turned out to be something completely different.

This place went mental for a few hours, and I put it down to a shit office job and my undiagnosed at the time mental health issues causing me to go a bit crazy over it and stoking the flames.

Got the meme of the coach looking exasperated though...

Preki was absolute peak ft meltdown 😂

We need fight on the pitch, and less keyboard warriors. After travelling that far, I don’t blame anybody for leaving early - and why should they stay if Winks and Co are heading straight down to tunnel so they can get an Aperol Spritz before the sun goes down?

That performance didn’t warrant an applause.

😂 I definitely don't disagree with the performance.

My response for when players/managers complain about lack of support during crunch moments is "give us something to foking cheer then". How are we supposed to get excited when it's the 90th minute and a goal down and Faes/vesty are playing lovely intricate passes in their own box

  4. Obviously he needs time to be judged probably. Saying that, a big thing I liked on the first interview was his talk about him getting the fans on board, showing that even if we lose, as long as everyone puts everything in, fans will be more understanding.

From what I've seen so far, I haven't seen much hunger or desire. Preston won pretty much all the 50/50s and the same with Huddersfield.

Is it a player who thing, like when we got relegated from the prem with Madders "we're too good to go down"? Players simply thinking they are too good and don't put any effort in?

I could forgive a team that tries and loses but it just breaks me down watching a half assed performance. It's beyond anger for me, it's just so painful.

KDH had had next to zero criticism from our fanbase following relegation. He was one of the players to most avoid any stick, people respected he put a shift in and he was a local lad.

He still started the season showing a significant chip on his shoulder, never really appeared outwardly all that happy and when he scored he was cupping his ears to the fans as if we'd spent weeks abusing him. It was a bit odd.

But he also seemed to feed off whatever anger it was he was holding on to and his performances kicked on a level, so, hey, whatever he needs to motivate himself I guess?

I really don't give a ****. I hate a LOT of our fans, to be quite honest. I don't care how much of a snob I am, we've so many many thick-as-shit, proud-to-be-ignorant chavs in the fanbase with **** all empathy for anyone they actually claim to support, who turn on players at the drop of a hat and claim to have always loved them the next minute if they have a good game. Fickle, childish dickheads.

I agree with your sentiment, probably wouldn't have articulated it as fruitily, but I understand your gripe with people who are quick to emotion (I feel like I am too in a lot of situations). Wasn't the gripe with KDH that he 'wished' Madisson luck at spurs and everyone went mental at him? I thought that was overblown a bit but the family base is a tinder pile at the mo.

There's just a lot of little things that have built up and now the kindling has turned into a blazing fire and every minor thing is just another log for it. I think a lot of it (I would hope at least) in times gone by a lot of these minor issues would be brushed off.

Anyway I feel like I've just argued for both sides but ignorance is bliss, and sometimes I wish I could just shout at the telly and feel better afterwards.

  6. Seems like a nice bloke. Broke into the scene with great potential but as many have said hasn't quite lived up to it, possibly due to the ACL. Has been somewhat of a liability at times and then pops up with an absolute cracker of a goal.

I'm not too fussed if he leaves. I'm never filled with confidence when his name is on the team sheet. For the past few seasons has been a pretty consistent 4/5 out of ten every game.

Decision to sell hinges on who the club feel they can replace him with, and what Winks’ reaction might be. Is he the kind of player who might not give us his best if he is not allowed to go?

Sounds like the logic of a well run club, not Leicester.

We should wait months not weeks. Our midfield is thin and soft, we don't have a striker and it seems unlikely Mavi and Fatawu will carry us by scoring 20 goals each and in addition we don't have a clue about the points deduction.

I'm optimistic but when I see non footballers like Soumare I'm going straight back to earth.

    😆 It's Faes for me.

I do think our attacking options are very good and is one good striker away from being excellent for championship level. Even Ayew will be decent at this level I think.

Time will tell. Fact is though matchday 1 had a lot of very low quality football games. Still early but in comparison last season matchday 1 had in total 40 goals. We're now in 23.goals with our game only left to be played.

I know there are always matchdays with low scoring games everywhere but l can't overlook the fact most of the games were a bit on the scrappy side.

Yeah I mean I hope I'm wrong. I think we should just wait a few weeks before we start making bold statements (not saying you have). We haven't even played our first game yet and people already crowning us champions.

He wasn't very good for us but not sure about people having a go at home.

I remember when Enzo did a winner Q&A he was asked about the most important player in the squad and he said Coady for what he brought to the dressing room.

None of us see inside the club so I tend to think he was a good presence internally.

I agree. You can see why he was signed when we have a lack of leadership in the team. It just unfortunately didn't work out. I personally don't hate him at all. He's just not that good of a player. Move on.

I'll celebrate like the rest of you when (if) Faes leaves though.
