  2. Wide open title race this season. Mcginn reminds me abit of Drinkwater in his prime, a real beast physically battling in the engine, quick balls over the top.
  3. Kept us in it really. Don't know what happened after we scored but we were having all sorts of problems at the back - Faes was visibly annoyed at Mavididi & Vesty and different points. Mads earned the cleansheet with 3 or more decent 1on1 saves.
  4. Decent win but we really need to find a higher intensity against the better sides - Plymouth could easily gone in at half time ahead from the chances we kept giving away. Second half put them to the sword, figured them out with the long ball, much more solid at the back and a nice cameo from Albrighton. Big up with Argyle fans, big turn out, kept going at the end.... calling Leicester a sh**hole when you come from Plymouth is some stretch however.
  5. That's generally how it works. It isn't his squad and the new owners have gone in with their own plans where Rooney is a feature. Think back to when King Power first took over here: Nigel Pearson out, Paulo Sousa in - we let him build his squad and implement his style, two months later he was out for Sven. It doesn't always go to plan but it's common practice. Brum have untapped potential. American owners have progressively found success here recently. Half the Prem is USA now, teams like Ipswich flying up with their newfound Yankie investment.
  6. I actually quite liked the white 2010 Burrda kit, still occasionally wear mine. The placement and colour looks way off on those reproductions though. Sol!

  8. How is Levi Colwill captain of a team which has Thiago Silva in it?
  9. Cairney tore them trees apart, defence all over the place
  10. Admittedly hasn't hit the heights I expected of him this season, thought he'd obliterate this level but he's worked really hard for the winning goal and slotted the ball through perfectly and we won. He's the only striker we have who can hold the ball up with his back to goal and as a possession team it's essential to have in the main striker. Also last week first half he kept coming deep, fans sat around me in the ground grumbling and the same names on here also grumbling post match - his coming deep was a tactic to draw the CB's up and have Mavididi come inside into the space - we almost scored from it first half last week. Maybe his languid sloppy style hard to like but his qualities are being overlooked by a few.
  11. Maguire's in a war out there
  12. Just looking at his Wikipedia... surely his parents didn't have that written on the certificate? Harry Billy??
  13. These are capable of giving us a decent game -
  14. Plymouth get a last minute winner against Stoke.
  15. Sheff Weds beating Blackburn
  16. Lucky to lead, then should've taken it away from them but lacked sharpness up top - would've thrown Cannon on personally. They deserved the equaliser but felt it was a tad jammy, Justin caught 3on1 from a punt and it finds its way to their player clear through.

  21. Thanks for adding context. Merely noting that this is the same bank that we're dealing with who have been mentioned in Wilko's recent demise, who were* another historic institution of Leicester's City.
  22. It's absolutely quackers.
