I can confirm that pre is not a word, however season is.

I was a huge fan of Gray, I'd love to see him develop here, but I think he's losing a lot of goodwill in some of the appearances he's made and had little impact on the game and also his perceived bad attitude. I think he either needs to go out on loan to somewhere like Bournemouth or Huddersfield where hopefully he would get regular playing experience, then go from there. If he hasn't improved from that, I don't think he will have the quality to improve us, so let him go. It will mean investing in 2 wingers this summer to cover for both Mahrez and Gray, be a risk, but could be worth it in the long run.

I dunno about that, the article seems pretty legit to me. And though yes it would be cheaper if you swapped effectively, but as a 27 year old male, I can't say that I know too many people that are also collecting them.

Is it just me that's thinking of taking a year away from FIFA when 19 comes out? I never thought I'd say this, but I'm kind of sick of pretty much just handing EA money for almost the same game every year. Especially as it's EA...

I want a QPR like situation whereby we sign so many players, we forget who we've signed... But minus the major financial and performance decline that came with it...
-
Yes, they sold RVP to United, who was their best player at the time... They sold Sanchez to United, who was their best player at the time... And alas, they sold Henry to Barca, who was STILL their best player at the time... Should I go on?

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
lcfcrinaldi replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
me and my Mrs have started playing Overcooked on the Switch. Extremely addictive, lots of fun and very much an argument inducer! Especially if your partner has such poor hand-eye coordination as mine. But it's all part of the fun! -
You say that but since he's been on loan to Moscow, he's scored 6 in 10 appearances! So at this point, he's baffling me! Plus I'm assuming that we are making players sh!t, rather than vice versa.

I've not read the link or any of the comments, but without doubt pyro, always...

Depends what area of Leicester you ask in...

Always really rated Bojan from his Barca days to current and so it's such sad news to hear about this. especially knowing that there are others going through the same thing, but too scared to say something. I really do wish him all the best and hopefully he can settle somewhere that his performances will be recognised.

Is Simeone going to be there next season? I thought he was parting ways with them now? Or is it just the one more year?
-
I wasn't going to bother as I'd heard it would cost over £700 to complete it. But my Mrs "surprised" me with one a few weeks ago, hadn't got the guts to tell her that was the reason I hadn't got one already though! So I just have to buy the odd pack every now and again to show her I appreciate it. Check this out... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/mar/29/cost-to-fill-panini-world-cup-sticker-book-is-734-says-maths-prof And the worse thing is, it's only going to get more expensive in the coming world cups as there are going to be loads more teams that will qualify!

Really hope he doesn't go but, stranger things have happened.

So this summer is going to be CB mania then? We seem to be linked with any that have a price tag south of £20m.

I'm afraid so, I merely said that if there was a better option out there, then why wouldn't we go for it? Puel doesn't exactly excite anyone here and you wouldn't stick with a Peugeot, if there was a Ferrari up for grabs? But alas there is no Ferrari, so the Peugeot it is. (I believe that was a direct Shakespeare quote)...
-
I think you are missing the point. I'm not moaning at all. If I was, I'd moaning about the lack of managerial talent around at the moment, not the lack of talent that Puel has displayed. Though, I can do that as well now I've caught your eye, if you would like? I don't mind playing devils advocate for people like you.
-
I'm so resigned to loosing him, I don't really care who he goes to, I'd just prefer it not to be another BPL team, if we can help it and for no less than £50m
-
He's not going anywhere. As much as it pains me to say, I don't think he will last the full 18/19 season. I think he's burned through a fair bit of goodwill that Top might have had with him, so I think if we see ourselves in the bottom half of the table and under-performing come Christmas, I don;t think they will keep him around. I would be more than happy to get someone new in now, but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen. And also, I don't see too many names on the market at the moment that I would like us to go for, other than maybe Eddie Howe, but those would be slim odds. Doesn't seem to be too much managerial talent around at the moment, available or otherwise.
-
Wouldn't say no to keeping him at all. But only if he's going to play some games, even if just a sub. If we have no intention of playing him, let him go.
-
How are you getting on with those controllers? In the market for some now and genuinely considering getting the official Joycons for £60. Are there any 3rd party Joycons? Or just the gamepad type controllers?
-
Nah, you're alright thanks.

Jonjo Shelvey, should he be at the world cup?
lcfcrinaldi replied to cityfanlee23's topic in General Football and Sport
Yes, there is no other England player in squad that has the ability to pass the ball forward. I'm not saying he's a starter, but there is no 'Plan B', the only plan that they have is 'stick to Plan A for 60 minutes, if we need to change, we will introduce like for like players for fresh legs'. At least Shelvey offers something different. I can see a lot of scraping 1 or 2-0's or draws during the campaign until we get absolutely taken apart by a Germany, Spain or Brazil (just like every WC). Will be very interesting to see how we fare against Belgium in the group stages, who for me are the dark horses of the tournament. -
Silva and Drinkwater minutes played.

He's done a JT! -
I appreciate that we may never be able to find anyone to fit Mahrez's boots. But we could at least try, I don't think that Roberts is the answer, maybe in the future, certainly not in the season to come. Sign him by all means, but the full weight of the task will be too much for him, therefore will need someone to help shoulder that. I'm a fan of Patrick Herrmann for borussia mönchengladbach (I know, I play too much FIFA), think he could do a pretty good job for us as well and a bit more experienced.
