  1. This is going to be our year. CC second division title, win the Twenty20 again and the Friends Provident. The treble at Grace Road (maybe not, but we can dream). I thought you would have been a Northants fan?
  2. Great start to the County Championship season, disappointing there was no play in the Natwest Trophy (or whatever it is now). I feel we could do well in that competition. And win our Twenty20 as well
  3. A burglar broke into the police station and nicked the toilet. The police have confirmed that they have nothing to go on.
  4. Did anyone else know that Clemence also won the penalty for Spurs that day? Filbert Street will always hold a place in the heart of every Leicester supporter who went there, no matter how well we do at the Walkers. It was a proper stadium with a great atmosphere.
  5. Filbert Street was brilliant, I can remember my first game there. We played Everton in 1996, and although we lost, I enjoyed it so much. Went to various matches over the next three years, always sat in the South Stand Upper, when, in 1999 when I was 9, Dad asked me if I wanted a season-ticket. I jumped at the chance, and I didn't regret it. Sat in the North Stand for those the final three years at Filbert Street, and some great matches stand out for me: The 5-2 win over Sunderland in 1999/2000 season, 3-1 win over Leeds the next year, 2-1 over West ham, and the 2-0 win against Liverpool, before it all went pear-shaped. In the last year at the Street the match against Man Utd when we got relegated, but the noise was amazing. We didn't stop singing, cracking support, and the final match at the great place, when Matty Piper headed in the ground erupted. The season was awful, but Filbert Street deserved a winning send-off. The only thing that annoyed me was the fact I live in Norwich, so I missed all the great midweek cup matches, like against Arsenal, Fulham, Aston Villa (Matty, Matty Elliott), and the Uefa Cup game against Red Star Belgrade. I was not happy at missing that one. Damn school Great times, great memories. Maybe they will come back one day.
