In my experience it's the biddies that are worst. Men aren't great, but they do acknowledge you more.

You must respect old ladies. It doesn't matter that they stare at you as though you've just come out of prison, or they never thank you for opening doors for them or giving up your seat on the bus, they are old and deserve respect. It's a lesson you need to learn Kareem.

I watched some of it yesterday (I was forced against my will). The commentator sounded like Bill Oddie.

The only non-Leicester English club shirt I've had was a Chelsea goalkeeper jersey from 1997. Apart from that, all of my shirt spending money has gone on Leicester shirts, either home, away or sometimes keeper shirt (if it's nice). I could never wear another English club shirt, it wouldn't feel right.

What have you and the maid been doing then?

I used to have this lovely navy blue Bordeaux (sp?) shirt from about 1998. Can't find it at the moment though. Does anyone on here own that purple and pink keeper's shrt from around 1996/97?

I don't drink, because I don't like the taste of alcohol, not because I might make a fool out of myself. The ones who annoy me are those that drink just to impress their mates. For God's sake, if you don't want to drink, don't, stand up for yourself and stand up to them.

The Bennett End is a good end to sit. I prefer the little stand next to the Scoreboard (not the electronic one), I used to sit there for every one-day match from 1998 to 2002.

The bowlers give you so much on the leg-side, it's brilliant.

Being given out caught behind when it hit my shirt I'm a left-hander, so it was down the leg-side, but my glove was nowhere near the ball.

Has she done something like that before then? I wouldn't have thought she was the type.
