  1. Mate, there’ll be something there that ticks most of your boxes for sure. I’d have had that Black one, but it doesn’t have the Harman Kardon system, nor the m sport calipers. Would you go for a 430d/435d? Have you checked the difference between the 420d & 430d on your insurance? Edit: Plus, the 8 speed auto box has Launch Control
  2. Good arrows mate. That Black is a Manual as well ☹️
  3. That’s nice by the way!! There is a few in that colour there.
  4. What’s your price range? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184401185209
  5. Which 4 do you fancy? Petrol or Diesel? Engine size? There’s an incredible looking 420d Gran Coupe in there at the minute. 2017 I think 40-odd thousand on the clock. New style rear headlights. Looks really smart. I’ll try and find it now.

Bloody hell mate. Wait another 5 years and you might be able to buy it outright! 😂
  7. I have 5 days drive away insurance supplied by the dealer which runs out on Wednesday. Is there a legal issue with me setting up my own insurance policy to start tomorrow? Is there an issue with being insured by two separate insurance companies simultaneously? Or should I just get my own insurance to start on Wednesday? Excesses on this drive away insurance are higher than I can get that’s all. Thanks in advance anyone who can help!
  8. I did look at those too briefly. It’s got a massive arse. If I didn’t have 2 gangly teenagers I’d have probably opted for a 2dr @Steve_Walsh5 too. They look incredible. Unfortunately it wasn’t really an option for me though.
  9. Worth 40minutes travelling time for sure. Are you looking for a 2dr or a Gran Coupe?
  10. I did mate. I picked it up this afternoon. 430d in the end. Too early to really judge the place, but they seem a good bunch. Definitely worth nipping up there for a gander. They’ve got LOADS of them mate. They put brand new wheels and tyres on all of them. They’re replicas mostly, but all of them look the bollocks mate. Car lovers dream. Just give them a bell and arrange to go up there for a mooch.
  11. Do Cazoo offer any more in terms of warranty than other dealerships that operate in a more traditional manner? Simply because of the way they sell their cars? Obviously we’ve been in conversation recently about my new purchase, but I don’t think I could ever buy a car without looking at it at the very least first. I remember a good few years ago, I found a Mercedes CLK online that looked the bollocks and I really wanted it. Up in Bradford. Drove all the way up there to have a look, it was a right mess. Paintwork all over was ruined. If id have just bought it from the photos I’d have been livid.
  12. Who is going to pay my mortgage whilst I’m at home schooling my children?
  13. Absolute bollocks
  14. For me mate, if there’s a kid in a classroom that is coughing, A LOT, then that child needs to get themselves off home ASAP and be prioritised for a test. Even the track and trace could potentially be never ending. I’m self isolating now until Saturday through track and trace. But how far do you go with it, because I’ve had texts from work colleagues since asking whether they should also self isolate because I’ve been in contact with them. How far do you go?? Headteachers especially, need to have some common sense. The fact that a positive coronavirus test will be recorded as the cause of death before 28 days even if I had a heart attack after 27 days makes a mockery of this whole situation.
  15. No it isn’t. But come on. The ‘sniffles’ aren’t a symptom of coronavirus. It’s ridiculous Stan. The reason so many school years are having to self isolate is because everything is so unclear, that the first time a teacher sees or hears a child fvcking cough, that’s it, everyone out. I don’t know the solution, but this scenario is simply unachievable, even in the short term. People will lose their jobs, homes and livelihoods because of this.
  16. I honestly don’t know Debs. Seems like a fruitless exercise to me in general for sure. But....I have no idea what goes on after dark down there 😂. It’s MASSIVELY pointless deterring young teens from congregating on parks of an evening if they’re told to congregate all day every week for the sake of their education.
  17. I absolutely agree with the desperate & frustrated part mate. I can relate to both of those emotions at some point since March. It’s clear that tests are at a premium at the minute though. Divs shouldn’t be clogging up A&E for what is ultimately a pointless exercise.
  18. I just don’t see what this will gain. I feel it’s an excuse/opportunity to try and get to grips with the possible(I have no idea if it’s the case) issue with young teens congregating on parks of an evening, drinking/smoking/shouting etc. Seems a pointless exercise to me.
  19. Well, it is in Coalville tbf.
  20. Nope. At no point throughout any of this was it general protocol to go to A&E voluntarily to get a test. Recently I’ve probably aligned more to your opinion than the other side, but none of the reasons you’ve suggested there are valid ones. Regardless of mitigating circumstances. I don’t understand why somebody would go to A&E before calling any of the helplines for advice.
  21. My place has announced this morning that Mask wearing is now mandatory across all company buildings at all times 🙄🙄🙄
  22. Well this is the thing. If the links are legit, what’s the point. They are my thoughts entirely. But when you call the helpline, to get a half arsed response, neither telling us to self isolate nor not bother, wtf should we do?
  23. This letter was on the doorstep today when I got home from work. No name on it just my address, skeptical as I am I called 119. They checked it out, by which I mean the guy I spoke to spoke to his boss about it. They concluded that neither of them knew anything about track & trace being sent out by post, only email text and phone. The guy that answered said that he used to do the track & trace before moving to 119, and said that when he was doing it, any person flagged on the track & trace would have been called & texted relentlessly until contact was made. They came to the conclusion that it was some kind of scam. Anyone else had one of these? And does anyone know if all those links listed are genuine? That’s the only thing I think a scammer could gain from doing this? If the links were the scam. edit: I must add, that they couldn’t catagorically tell me that it was a scam and not to worry about it either. The 2 places that we’ve been track & traced throughout this, was my wife on the bank holiday Monday when she went to the pub, she gave an address & Telephone No. & us as a family went for a meal at the Local Hero the Sunday after that. I gave my name and phone number.
  24. It means the little piece of paper the last owner put in front of it has fallen down mate.
  25. I’m really tempted to chop my shitty Astra in and spend what is a lot for me on a new motor. I really like the look of the 4 series Gran Coupe BMW’s. Anybody dealt with, or know much about YNC Ltd in Nottingham? They have some absolute stonkers in at the minute.
