Maybe I'm the outlier here, but I'm excited to see what Cooperman brings. Maresca was never going to work out for us in the Prem (and vice versa), but we got £8 mill or whatever instead of sacking him at Christmas. Maybe he can reintegrate Soumare/Kristiansen/Souttar back into the squad and bring Alves/Braybrooke/Nelson through! A few new faces if we're lucky. Come on, I'm feeling the spirit of '15/'16! Let yourselves feel it too! 😜

Quite, but our overspending culture needs to change, not just shifting to the next accounting period. Find a coach where buy-out clause doesn't apply - not easy, but that's what JR gets the big bucks for I imagine?!

Apologies if this has already been covered, but if the figures quoted for Enzo's release clause equates to £50 mill of player sales - are we seriously going to negate that by shelling out on any in contract coaching staff?

Points deductions are not announced before Oct/Nov historically. So, I guess we're likely to appoint a 'placemat' manager in the hope they can just keep us up. Are there any more Dyche brothers? 🤔

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but it's my understanding that we can't buy any new players or even sign any current player new contracts until our promotion is ratified at a Premier League meeting at end of June. And even then that depends on the Prem not imposing their own restrictions on us. Presumably this also extends to management / coaching staff? Anyone know anything more about this?
